I kid I kid
They could hold off on releasing a new console for 2 more years if they wanted and could support the 360 with new games for another 4 to 5 years if they chose (before their effort to keep it relevant feel through)
I don't know what so hard to get here, vast improvements in technology aren't going to be as noticeable until a few more years (and technology breakthroughs) have passed for these "HD consoles".
the 360 version somehow turns out better? What if the 360 version in-game actions look better or run smoother? I know the PS3 is the lead platform and the 360 version is the port. I know the 360 version will have compressed audio, video and its CGI scenes won't be 1080p like the PS3 version but still. What will we PS3 owners say if the 360s version textures look more detailed, it has shorter loading times (somehow) and the frame rate is better?
I'm not one for "eating crow&q...
We say this ALL THE FREAKIN TIME, Anyone who likes Halo (and there are a lot of you) ALREADY HAS A 360. They might buy additional 360s, replacement 360s or even 360s for their family/friends as gifts but the ALL already have them. Halo reach is NOT a "system seller" so Sony has nothing to worry about with that particular game, even if it sells 15 million copies day one.
The 360s "system sellers" this year are Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction.
They don't even have separate user accounts made for their kid/s? That's the first problem right there and it's probably the 360s fault since most parents make their kids and themselves share everything on that console since they'd be paying $50 per year per child that wanted to play online if they don't share.
The 360 is a american console so it has the american ratings board and esrb for its system which makes since, the PS3 is from japan. The numbers, though not as convenient,...
I can't believe they've even considered ignoring us PS3 owners in the US. This is DEFINITELY M$s fault. Low sales of jrpgs on its system make japanese publishers think we americans as a whole are uninterested in their games and it's not true :'(
How can four (five really) single player action games "hold me over" till GOW3 drops? The games listed could all be beatin within the same week, or a single weekend if you've got nothing better to do.
Not saying I could make better list though, since it seems to be limited to new releases only anyway. Darksiders was a nice inclusion though.
That's seems useful and nice because its compact but buying a separate card reader and usb hub would be a lot cheaper (but obviously more garish too).
I love my original 80Gb model, with its card readers and 4 usb ports standard.
Looks like me and you and the one who agreed with you so far are the only ones that actually watched this to the end or at least skipped to the end.

There wasn't even an "advert" fool, and the end of the video was important.
Sony has pulled the January 18th newest/final build trailer of GOW3 that HHG and N'Gai saw. They were supposed to be receiving said video on the 18th but sony has changed its mind and the hiphopgamer wants us to go to the official sony blog and beg for it in masses so they might change their minds.
All you here bickering over nothing when this ^ was the most important part of the video. :(
Hilarious, what more could I say?
edit:
We all know P2P gaming is at fault here (This could have been an Uncharted 2 online match but it wasn't) but that doesn't make it any less funny.
Something like that was an easy call for the "refs" anyway.
*BOOM!*
*sits quietly*
That was the first home space that looked like it was worth purchasing and I don't even use home. That trailer was epic in a sense, I'd love to invite friends to my PS Home space if it looked like that.
I have never bought a single thing in Home and have been advising against it forever but this sways my opinion and even if you feel bad about spending money "on nothing" you could say it was for the fishing game.
I'm impressed LOL
I don't believe 3D will be ANYWHERE near as popular as HD has become. It's just an extra option like it always has been. I can see why Super Stardust HD might be phenomenal in 3D and other games might not be worth the time or eye adjusting.
I kinda wish Sony wasn't investing so much in it, it's a true gamble
But then again I haven't seen it first hand with HD games so who knows, I'll be seeing for myself sooner or later.
Here's a thought: 3D glasses for ...
I'm sure tons of people in Japan will find it cool.
It's just product recognition guys, Halo IS Xbox so of course it's sales will always be high just like Mario for Nintendo or Sonic (was) for sega.
Modern Warfare has the same type of following so people recognize the name and get excited about its release with no need for reviews to sway their decision (not that it received low/bad reviews). The same is true for Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid and a few more I can't remember. Titles you'd want to receive these sales...
Wasn't that car like 1/2million dollars in the game? I remember finally being able to buy 1 and not being able to use it cuz it was too fast to keep under control, or maybe cuz it was a drag car. Though for me it had to be in either A-spec GT2 or GT3
I really hate that there are sites tossing low scores at this game based on their personal disappointment with it not being what they expected. Rate it for what it is, not what you think it should be/should be doing!
It's hilarious really, every time I see a review of 7 or lower I just think "Blasphemy!", "Impossible!" or "They're such liers!"
I've seen so much of this game already that the low scores just seem unbelievable.
that this is actually MicoSofts Xbox 720 but they've secretly kept their name off the product as not to frighten their 360 fanbase?

The "MicroConsole", on"LIVE", the controller, it all seems a little fishy. Next thing we know 6 months before release M$ has "surprisingly" bought out the company and its idea and the system gets released as a M$ console. The only thought against it is the sleek/stylish/compact design that M$ isn't exactly known for.
