Some old school plasmas and big screens can only do 1080i so that's good for those people in that situation. I'll be playing in (automatically upscaled) 1080p so I can see every detail that got this game its mature rating.
"blown away" and visually impressive are two completely different things and your assessment was exactly what I meant.
Last gen I was "blown away" by FFXs cut scenes, this gen I was "blown away" by those Gears of War commercials and since then I have only been "blown away" by the GOW3 trailer where he rips a centaurs stomach open and the ground eventually goes vertical while the camera pulls back to show that you were on a titan the whole...
"Blown away" isn't something that happens often and these guys really think it'll happen 16 times THIS YEAR? I don't believe I've been "blown away" by a games visuals 16 times in my life yet. Blown away, (like: Sit back, eyes wide and think/say whoa!). The game has to be a new benchmark and I don't think that can happen so many times within the same console generation.
I'm gonna like the visuals but "blown away"?, hardly.

Insomniac made no camera games when the PS2 had it and they've made none for the PS3 so what they expect them to say? I don't think Natal will be "revolutionary" but I do think it will have it's place and be enjoyed as long as their are good games and uses made for the device.
People act like this game doesn't look last gen with HD graphics or something. This game runs in 1080p because of how little polygon and texture work was involved. It is no graphical benchmark and FF13 completely blows his game out the water visually.
The cutscene in this game are really nice though but the graphics are like putting Dark Cloud one through an HD filter.

I've never really been interested in the game, how much has this game sold in it's lifetime? Would it even be worth it to please a number of fans that may have dwindled since the Dreamcast days?

Maybe they consider 3 million sold a "failure" since I see GOW 3 doing no less than that this year. I know a few people personally that are buying PS3s just for this game.
But I think improving the browser would be great. Thing is, the browser is probably at the bottom of Sonys list of priorities.

O.o This is getting rediculous. The only negative I've EVER heard about this games gameplay was that, in the beginning, it's too easy and all you have to do is mash attack repeatedly. I've seen this game in motion an watched for hooooours. I watched people grind to get CP for hours and not once did I think of the battle system anything less than perfect.

These games weren't graphical benchmarks to begin with, they are after all open world PS2 games. Also the style of game play is too similar too each other so it would be boring to play them back-to-back (considering their length too).
THIS would be the most pointless remaster I could think of. GTA4 can be found for $20 everywhere, deal.

They should've released two versions, one with a mic packed in like warhawk and socom have done. A leader with a mic is the difference between having a good time and struggling to achieve your objective.

The only thing I don't like about seeing reviews (that seem low for my opinion) is that if you look at what other games received a similar/the same score from that same reviewer you know the reviewer is just blowing smoke.
I've seen movie tie-in games get 80s and to think they're on par with what you're getting with this FF game is just ridiculous.

I'm glad they finally talked about FF13 too, they seemed to be avoiding it in the last few shows and I agree with their thoughts on it in this episode. PS3 = Final Fantasy. 360 will get the game and there are definitely people with 360s that are interested but many people, like me, bought PS3s just for games like this. 2:1 is a pretty good prediction.
