It may "fail" in comparison to the other FF titles (sales wise) but it definitely is past the point of outright failure

I guess there's a market for them but there are many other games that people would want before these.

I use to think that framerate drops and slow down were intentional things.
I remember playing things like dynasty warriors and thinking "good thing it slows down when all this crap is happening or I wouldn't be able to see what's going on"

I have NO problem with the lowered overall health, I love it, but killing someone by shooting them in the leg with a sniper rifle is ridiculous. I can't believe limb damage wasn't different from torso damage from the start, WTF? LOL
You say your PS3 has been offline but have you updated the firmware since then? I wold assume so as you’re playing Uncharted 2 and I think that game required a FW a certain update (albeit the one that gave devs more ram to work with).
In any case, what I’m thinking is that this problem was caused by something in the firmware.

I'd feel bad for Sony if they can't resolve this issue fast, though 2009 was epic, 2010 is supposed to be the PS3s biggest/most notable year.
But they don't usually OVERestimate the sales of PS3 games so this is even better news.
Yeah, I just hope the developer is happy with the sales, ie expected around or less than this. The shortages/fact it was understocked would indicate as much but you never know. Hopefully they get more presses right away before they loose a crap load of possible sales to game rental store.
They definietly understocked this game because they expected this niche title to be.. niche.
They always bring up how their games sell based off word of mouth rather than the ads yet they didn't expect this high of a demand for a game that's been talked about (positively) for so long? I'm sure that demo raised interest and sold more than a few copies itself too.

I couldn't give a rat backside about trophies, I just want to be able to play my games and go online. WKCs won't even get to the load screen. What a stupid way to design you game, sync trophies AFTER the game FFS!
