Imagine if they combined with Apple for the Iphone/pad/pod, Sony for the PSP2 or M$ and the ZuneHD? Playing HD graphics on a hand held device and plugging it into an HDTV when you're home?

Yes these games look good but no, this one (comparable to Killzone 2) falls short and Uncharted 2 DEFINITELY looks better than Alan Wake. Since when do overused bloom effects = better graphics? It's nice looking and textures are good but that's it.

It's a good looking game for a PSN title.
Who cares if it's exclusive or timed exclusive, it's decent looking download title either way and multi/not won't effect the quality of a game like this.

Heavy Rain devs poke fun at windows OS? At least it isn't blatant as something like a dead/red ringed 360 or a comment about not having to deal with inferior disc space.
Is how THIS publication is claiming other claims as FUD when they themselves don't have the 360 copy in-hand to make ANY claims.

There is some truth to what they're saying but just as they say about Natal being an enhancing option so is the arc. You can choose how you want to control the (retail) game from the start and I'm sure there will be light, PSN games to play with it as well.
My ONLY concern with the Arc/Gem is Sony's history when it comes to peripheral support. It dies out for them or has little investment and I'm glad games like Heavy Rain remind people the six-axis still exist in all PS3 control...
But 360 only owners never really cared about this game in the first place, they just liked to brag that it went multi. Any true Final Fantasy fan bought or planned to buy a PS3 for this game (among others) a loooong time ago, so who cares what the 360 version looks like?
linux has been able to play the older titles on a PS3 for a looong time now.
The PSP can do this with a lot less effort too.
This seems like that type of title/topic that'll reach the top.
I don't know about Valve, What do they make besides Left 4 Dead and Counter-Strike, do we even need them?
And I'll admit M$ CONFIRMED line-up is currently more impressive (does not = longer, PS3 list is diverse) since we aren't sure of a lot if the Sony titles will be out in 2010 and there are still titles for both consoles we haven't even heard about yet.

callahan, I think only the first episode is going to be free. I don't remember where I got this thought from though, but I had it in my mind this whole time that there would be a charge for episodes past the first one.

I have no idea how long Heavy rain has been in development but from recent news posted on this very site it would seem that they could survive it since they basically said if the title does well Sony might publish their next game. Implying that there WILL be a next game and that the success of this one makes the difference in what system/systems the next game ends up on. (who publishes it)
