He's says that but then he also basically stated that they're waiting to hear what MS says about the next xbox before they price the PS4. They want yo price it competitively so they are waiting in that sense.
They could release it at a small profit (for the first time ever) or release it at a loss to make it more appealing when compared to the next xbox.
This is their strategy and it IS dependent of what MS does next.
I'm buyin...
I thought it was pretty funny. The first two reasons were similar to something a troll would say but after that it was more obvious that they were being funny, even if you weren't familiar with this site and its satirical nature.
It's pretty much a given to be an option in any playstation exclusive fps.
That was pretty funny/cute. A new Crash would be fun.
Is there anything that's stopping Microsoft from simply adding more RAM of the same type already in their dev kits? Like could they upgrade it to 16Gbs of DDR3 without having to start from scratch?
Would it help if they did? Is there any sort of bottleneck that would make doing this pointless?
I meant to say, "It wasn't just Killzone that was demoed".
"Too me, E3 is going to be the deciding factor."
I'm pretty much set but E3 will definitely solidify my decision. Sony made a lot statements saying things like: "we plan to.." "we want to...", "we intend to.." so I'm interested in what solid features they'll have and they should be more certain about them come E3.
Both Killzone and Knack were shown running, they weren't trailers. I also doubt they'd have them up and running on a PC rather than PS4 hardware as any discrepancies would be noted as soon as the final versions of these games came out not looking like these demos. (ala that new Aliens game)
These games were basically running on dev kits, we'll see the hardware once it's ready. Seeing a box doesn't validate anything btw, a pc could be tailor-fitted to resid...
I think they didn't announce the title because they may have made a financial deal with another company, MS or Nintendo, to announce their game on that console first.
We can't mention its name here because we have to show it there first.
I doubt this will cost them much of anything extra. Last gen we went from SD games to HD games, that was what made game creation cost more. Creating higher resolution textures, having more realistic physics, better AI.
All that's happening now is those same games we've been playing are no longer being held back as much by their hardware. Developers make their games as nice as they can to begin with, then scale them down to make them run smooth on PS3 and 360 hardware....
We start at 5 bubbles, not 3. In your first example the user LOST 2 bubbles since joining and your second example LOST 1 bubble.
I stopped reading at that point because, with your information being incorrect at its base, your logic was already flawed.
Funny to say this but you COULD preform a hardware mode that would integrate two consoles into one unit. It probably wouldn't look very nice though.
One thing that sucks about this is the new PS4 features that I'd like to use on PS3 games. I'd LOVE to be able to record playback of some PS3 games and have it instantly uploaded without all the hassle that comes with doing that today.
If they created a higher cost version that included a cell for full backward compatibility I'd probably go for it. As long as it kept all the PS4 features an didnt limit itself to some "PS3 mode" like ps3s currently do (n...
The 360 already has a pc-like architecture, there's no reason why the next xbox shouldn't be backward compatible or at least have SOME backward compatibility.
Sony's new system is in a completely new boat though.
I'll be keeping my PS3 around, especially for all those titles that have yet to be seen and my psn and ps+ downloads.
Neither did Kaz
The expectation was a new game, whether it be multi-console or not a NEW game would have been nice.
This wouldn't mean Blizzard abandoning PC gamers, just releasing whatever it's new thing is onto both a console and pc.
theyre built for ps3 architecture so this is probably true.
Gaikai streaming is one possible solution
For now, just keep your ps3 to play your ps3 and psn games.
They released a spec sheet that shows it having a bd dvd rom drive, it will definitely load disc. They also stated in the conference that released all games as in digital form *as well* would be their goal.
I heard no mention of a SSD. They just said it would come with a hard drive. Where did you read this?
lmao, a free moon.
The Deep Down tech demo part where the guy passes the torch blows everything from this gen out the water. I personally think the dragon fight was bs though, it looks like there's a video playing of a dragon in the background rather than them really being in the same room. The facial animations and torch scene were great though.
