lmao, so true!
I've been waiting for a game like this.
Yeah, unless Sony signed some sort of deal around keeping the name when they purchased the company it's almost a guarantee that the name Gaikai will be changed to something with playstation in it.
They didn't show any games from the PS3s launch lineup, and with good reason, the majority of these newer games looks waaaaay better visually so it just makes more sense to include them in a video.
Sony have claimed numerous times to rely on word of mouth. Us "core fans" will watch the event and hype the PS4 to our more casual gamer friends.
Nope, crazy, seemed like it could have been a lot longer. PS3 tech, Move, PSN and PS+ was all they mentioned.
Guess Home won't be part of PS4 :/
"unlimted kinect support"
Laughed my ass off at that one.
PS3 has a cell processor, unless they add one in every PS4 (which would raise its cost) I HIGHLY doubt the PS4 will be backward compatible.
I would think because of the way they design games around the cell it would be hard for the new system to to play them without it.
It's not really about used games, it's more about being able to let friends borrows your games. Taking them to a friends house without dragging your system along.
For some it's about that resale value, if they buy a game and hate it that's a lot of money down the drain if it can't be resold at a fair price.
This was a good article but it would have made more sense if it was directed at Microsoft. It applies to Sony only because theyre the ones announcing something soon. I would hope they follow this path and make it easy or easier for developers to get games on their system but for the most part they've done a decent job and had plenty of new IPs and indie games thanks to it.
Again, let's hope MS follows this suggestion as well, more so than Sony. Some restrictions are n...
Yeah this is my first time seeing this, when I read Harlem Shake I thought "That old dance P. Diddy use to have kids doing do?"

Wow, I think this is butt ugly but I also think it's 100% real and an optional controller.
It seems legit, though it could have been shopped based on the rumors and patents we know
They're gonna do another tech demo of how many ducks the PS4 can handle on screen at once. This time it'll be like the equivalent to the number of leaves that were on that rustling leaf tech demo.
I hope that SquareEnix Crystal Engine shows off more of what it can do with sonys new system. Witcher 3 shown real-time on ps4 would be sweet too.
I bet they show full specs, what it looks like and future plans on services, apps and it's capabilities.
Probably announce a price cut or new PS3 bundles.
Theyre gonna show their plan/intentions for the PS4 and all the possibly boring stuff they want investors to know too. And when E3 comes around it'll be nothing but games, lots and lots of games running real-time on the actual hardware.
1. When you use the PS button to exit, just like the middle button on the 360, it asks you if you want to quit you current game.
2. It does indeed ask you where you want to store things if you have an external HDD attached.
1. When you hold the PS button or when you press it and select "quit game" all it ask is yes or no, the warning about losing save data does not exist. It's just "Quit Game"? Yes/No
2. It only ask abou...
I hope it has cross-system chat with PS3 owners like the Vita so I can still chat online with friends that haven't upgraded.
Everything you mentioned are rumored to be in the PS4 already though some have said the share function (video recording) was a fake/debunked rumor.
Oh man, you make me wanna dust off the old gamecube and play it again. I still have the first two, great games, great memories.
What's crazy is with all the console playing, first person shooter fans that exist today (in comparison to when this was released) a Wii-U version SHOULD be in the works. It would bring in both the hardcore gamers and the fans and would undoubtedly sell millions as well as push hardware sales.
Just imagine the Wii-Us graphical ca...
His complaints are valid, the PS3 doesn't Waste my time warning me before I quit a game, it doesn't ask me where I'd like to save an app, it doesn't phrase general questions to me as if it doesn't know whether I'm doing something game, app or service related. That WOULD be annoying.
The time between pressing "Start Game" to when you're actually playing should be faster (on all consoles) too. Those "splash screens" should only ex...
Merril... you're friggin hilarious!
The idea alone that theyre trying and will succeed at something thought to be overly ambitious gets me excited for their new game.
Motorstorm came with my PS3 when I bought it about a year after the PS3s release. It was the first game I got to play in HD with outstanding graphics, it was fun and fast like a Burnout game in the dirt and I loved.
Anything they come up with will be great, MS4 or new IP.
I think Sony just pays the company some flat-rate price for their game. Older games that are no longer selling much get offered some amount from Sony and if they accept it, we get it. In the case of some games they may yet still see more of our money as we might become interested in buying DLC for their game or we may become potential fans that buy their future products because of it.
PS+ is so simple, it's a surprise the other console aren't copying it. I'd be n...
