I was wondering where everyone was hearing this new IP GG information.
I wonder what genre they're going to make it.
A fighting game would be cool, there haven't been any new AAA fighting game IPs in a long time, especially not an exclusive one. Blazblue being the newest that comes to mind, though it is exclusive.
They're most likely to make and action game or and RPG though sense they said something completely different. Making a third person s...
Some of us don't have bandwidth caps.
For those that do, disc is still an option.
Don't understand why this is even surprising to people when Killzone 3 was 41.5 GB http://www.justpushstart.co...

What new thing is Guerrilla doing?
@Darth
I'm not focusing on the title, the title is simply emphasizing the part of the article that the author deemed to be the most noteworthy.
What I'm focusing on is the fact that in the comment, relating to this statement:
"This architecture simplifies development, and makes techniques that previously were in the realm of science fiction doable."
He is talking about the PS4 specifically and you seem to be trying to deny th...

The box itself looks pretty cool, seeing that different colored PS3 box will catch attention on its own.
This game really should've launch on PS4, very original and attractive for a lower priced title.
Puppeteer and Dragon's Crown were surprising titles to come out at a lower cost this year.
I've been wanting this feature so people checking my trophies wouldn't think I have certain games that I put in the system or launched once and then never actually played but are stuck there, forever at 0%.
Hiding is actually a smarter option than deleting them because if deleting was possible then someone in your home or someone you gameshare with could delete all your trophies if they feel like it/are mad at you. They could delete all your save files but you could ...
@Darth
You're obviously the one cherry-picking here.
Without even looking at the article title the article itself states:
"On whether the 8 GB GDDR5 RAM and unified architecture posed an advantage to developers using the Unity Engine to develop on PS4, Helgason replied, “Absolutely. This architecture simplifies development, and makes techniques that previously were in the realm of science fiction doable. We intend to make this extrem...
You're relating this to high frame rate and video resolution (which are even achievable on current gen consoles) when you should be looking at things that have been proven already. Devs are constantly talking about the high speed of development associated with the PS4. They're getting their games up and running on the system at a faster rate than before on any other brand new technology. Usually there's a learning curve with new tech but apparently the PS4 is a cake walk.

Game development and any type of programming is science, in regards to hardware or software.
Engineering = science
GTFO Darth lol, The article clearly specifies the PS4 hardware setup and goes on to mention the X1 separately saying it plans to work on that console too. They have separated the description so why are you grasping at straws trying to lump them together? Did you even read the article?
The PS4 is using RAM that was previously only used for Graphics cards alone and it's using it in a unified pool for devs to access. As opposed to the PC having GDDR5 for the graphics card wh...
Just not impressed with these graphics, I'm not seeing much of a jump. Even the sub-surface light scattering on the skin mentioned in the video isn't as realistic looking as it is in other next gen games.
Maybe I'm expecting too much :/
Whatever happened to all those old arcadey sports titles like NFL Blitz? Is there anything like that still in existence?
It's starting to look like Warframe without the swords to me :/
Mass Effect and Borderlands too.
Lol, read that in the voice of Reginald, the Koala from American Dad.
The game looks good, I was wondering how to get Beta access and this video answered it.
PS4 + PS Vita Tv = $450
That would be pretty sweet.
"Based on our brief hands-on, the answer’s a resounding yes"
Best of both worlds, great single player and great multiplayer. I definitely want to get this game around launch when I have the money. I love science fiction stories and the game looks both fun and beautiful.
LOL @ everyone focusing on the picture while ignoring the actual article! Talk about being "frustrated", the picture drew me in too. LMAO
Looks about as fun as a drunk girl in a mini skirt, I wonder how long it'll stay exclusive though and whether I'll care about it at that time with all the other games bound to release by then.
A single player mode that explains the story would be appreciated at $60 but if they've got enough maps, modes and those before match setup scenes that explain it I guess it could be worth it too.
It is really true about most people only playing the first stage or first few stages of a FPS then only playing it for the online. I know I've done it a bunch of times, I have way more fun playing online.
This could be changed if more games allowed the single playe...
