One of the devs literally said that they only recent found out and that EA made a deal with MS. If the game sells and reviews good enough MS might set up another deal to keep any franchise exclusive as well.
The reason why the devs had been so elusive up till this point was because it was only a timed exclusive till EA and MS made this deal recently.
It's still coming to 360 and it's still coming to PC but a PS4 version would have to be some TitanFall Sigma -l...

I read this title wrong and was worried, thought it was saying that the 1st party PS4 games were being held from release like something of a delay was going to happen. Seeing the rumor sway towards "hopefully" let me know I was reading it wrong lol.

So the PS4 textures aren't as soft as they seem afterall or is it that the X1 isn't as dark as they showed it?
JackFrags picture make PS4 version look a little texture wise, less "blurry". With that it looks even closer to the PC version than before, I don't know wtf is up with the darkness on the X1 though, it bugs me more than the jaggies.
Someone could stand in a dark area and get free shots...
I hope this is true, they haven't mentioned anything about loading the update on a usb flash/external drive yet.
I also hope that system firmware patches eventually start coming pre-loaded on to game disc. the way he said it makes me think that might not do it in the future either.

In the video an picture comparisons the XO version looks darker, sharper and it makes the textures pop more but it also causes a LOT more ailising than what you see in the softer textured PS4 version. There are very noticeable jaggies all over the XO version in every picture or video we see. Maybe that's why the PS4 is being considered as looking better, even though the X1 textures are more defined.
This reminds me a lot of current gen comparisons when PS3 games look soft...

The DS4 is like any other 3rd party controller once plugged in. Just like how it works on PC and is easily/instantly recognized as a controller.
I never thought about this till now but it makes perfect sense.
These few clips they've shown so far have all been beautiful, can't imagine not wanting all the tracks once this is released.
Was initially pretty excited about the PS+ Edition but now I don't want a version with less tracks and cars, I need the full game. Will probably buy any track DLC that releases down the road too.
The vistas seem so serene and relaxing.

After seeing some of these tracks I can't imagine being restricted to the ones in the PS+ Edition.

The PS+ Edition is just a version for me to upgrade from at this point. As I'm expecting there to be some sort of discount to turn PS+ Edition in to the full version compared to spending the full $60.

Wouldn't be surprised if Canadian game store weren't caught selling console early too at this point. I think Sony said they were okay with this though because it saves people time to get the games and accessories early. Even Amazon is going to be shipping the accessories early.
