Dude there are a TON of great games coming to PS4 that aren't on Xbox. FF14 Arr being a huge one that's also going to be there at launch. There's a large number of F2P games in addition to this one anyway, Warframe being one of the most action heavy. War Thunder for the shooter fans. Resogun free with PS+, and a ton of indie titles too.

The biggest issue is that the PS3 already has these features and MANY of us LOVE the PS3 for having these features. The PS4 was naturally expected to have them too but it seems Sony is trying to push more apps. It'd be nice to know if other music apps will work in the background but they only mentioned Music Unlimited in their faq. That lead many to think they aren't supporting MP3s for a greedy reason, which may very well be the case. If they allow TuneIn to work I'd be happy to ...

Geez, there's million of 360s already out there too that can play Titanfall, both versions will be 720p and it already has black ops 2 looking graphics. Not sure how much of a loss in quality a person will suffer from choosing to play it on the 360 they already own or a X1.

I think they're only doing that with the games that they publish themselves. But you can cross your fingers and hope for the best, not many devs are so giving though.
You can only "strip" a feature after its existence was confirmed in the first place -_^
For example that 10 family member share plan was "stripped" from the X1. Not being able to replace the internal HDD yourself [wasn't] stripped, because the MS never claimed the X1 to have that feature in the first place.
360 has swappable HDDs and PS3 has MP3 playback but their next gen counter-parts never claimed they could do these things :/

System power definitely should not be a determining factor, features, exclusive games, friends, price, developer support. These are all things worth considering first. If your favorite dev team or franchise is on a particular platform it shouldn't mean squat that another platform is more powerful.

I spoke up against the lack of reading audio cds too, I was just more understanding because they/someone claimed the newer blu-ray drive had a problem reading audio CDs or some crap like that. The only thing that REALLY looks good in Ryse are those in-engine cut scenes and there's a good chance that those cut scenes are just videos that were created in a superior build. Whether that's true will be evident once the game releases and the load times before the cut scenes are checked (in-engine = instant, video play requires a load time).

No interest or use in portable gaming. I don't take public transportation or have any place outside of my home where I'd play video games. The Vita itself has exclusives that I'm interested and would prefer to play them on a tv. Demos are the best way to get a preview of what a game is really like, more so than watching any video or reading any review. Best to have the trifecta though as demos could focus on the absolute best aspects and leave you with a game that sparse showing of what you played on a demo.

Dropping the ball on MP3 support was unfathomable. No one anywhere ever would expect a PS4 not to play MP3s. I understand that it's meant as a gaming device first and foremost but I still expected to have all the media functionality currently present on the PS3.
