A lot of the comments from you guys are hilarious but I'm not really one to bash for the sake of bashing. The significance of this announcement to me is the solace in knowing that they aren't forcing parity.

Sony is pretty much the only company that blocks native MKV support. There are a ton of blu-ray players from panasonic, samsung and other big electronics makers that support MKV playback. Just about all media players do like the western digital Live media players for example.

These were real, legitimately disappointed people, expressing why it was a big deal for them saying it. There was no sarcasm to be found and I'm very good at reading comprehension and understanding expressions. Just look at the comments for yourself instead of doubting me instantly.

Maybe that's it, they're pushing apps more. I'm pretty sure they'll be other music apps available, hopefully free ones like TuneIn that just released on the PS3.

OF COURSE we want to be able to play our MP3s and have DLNA, Media player/media sever support.
Most annoying is that the fact says "no support", not that it will come in a patch or that they are considering it. The most surprising thing I've read here in months.

PS3 just had the sound when you click through the interface (custom sounds with some themes), no music.

They both look great but neither is flawless/perfect.
You aren't wrong, it's called being cheap and that's what Capcom is forced to do right now with their company so low on money. Lots, if not all, games have multiple variations of the same beast though. Change the skin, color, hair, size and say it's from a different region.
Crazy that they have this new and amazing game engine but can't really show off it's max potential. Could be wrong, they might spend a lot, take a gamble and pray it pays off.

Man, certain comments lately (like yours) keep reminding me that the PS4 has a 2000 player friends list. It's like, we don't have to be as selective anymore with who we add. With a game like BF4 having 32 vs 32 player matches it's really cool that we might actually have 31 friends, all online at the same time, playing the same game and able to be in a match together.

OMG I was so fixated on this guys lisp that when he eventually said "I'm Berry White" I busted out laughing. He's like the exact opposite of Berry White, so much so it's ridiculous.
EA went all out, jets flying over head like they just got money to blow. BF4 looks great, definitely looks like it might take the sales crown from CoD this year.
What makes you think they'll be out of stock? This is Target we're talking about here, it's not exactly the first place people think of going when they want s new game. People who hear about this and have the money will probably wait till the three they want are available.

This video sucks, they could've at least paused during a close up or something, most of the video wasn't even in sync with each other. The PS3 version looks pretty good, only thing I really noticed bad was the shape of that orange lifesaver on the boat. It wasn't all that round like the PS4 version.
Anyway, a close up would've been nice, video is pretty much a waste of time, especially without understanding the language of narrator/uploader.
A 720p cod ghost will have that effect on some people. Expect PS4s to be worth even more on ebay now with people more likely to try to jump to Sonys system even though pre-orders for the PS4 are sold out.
