Same story here. I've been gaming since Pong was new and I'll never get tired of it. The more blood guts and sex the more I enjoy it. But I also have kids and they don't get to play my games. I know what they play, I know what they watch, I know where they go and more importantly, THEY know right from wrong!

/agree! Japanese Devs need to continue to make the amazing games they always have. I am NOT impressed but some of the latest stuff and sure as hell don't want their creativity influenced by some of the garbage we have here!
I just don't see this happening on a large scale, and while I personally have no desire to try either the kinect or move, I certainly don't think I'd buy the one that makes me pay to play non-mmo games online and then might ban me if they think my name or city is offensive O.o

I go with what I need. I've been running ATI for the last couple years but just built a new box for FFXIV. Did a lot of research and checked performance comparison charts and this time, for the price range and performance I was after, I went with Nvidia. Just figure out what you want and do your research.
Ffxiv is running smooth for me and I got the price and performance I wanted and that's all I care about.

Because I keep an eye on the industry to see if this ever will take off. Personally I kept hoping it would but so far it just seems to be another $$$ sink.
From what I've read 90% of the supposed 3D movies aren't even filmed in 3D but are just regular movies with 3D effects added later.. meh. Avatar was damned good (3D wise) but of course the story was garbage... haven't seen a lot from 3D gaming yet or 3D live tv.... Meh.

I don't even know anyone that goes to 3D movies in teh theater anymore, much less wants to pay the insane price for a 3D tv. I think this latest money making fad idea is already on it's way down except 'maybe' in the gaming sector.

It's simple, if you don't like it, don't buy their games. You people are where their 'Profits' come from and every time you buy their games, you're saying "Yes, we support this behavior!"

None of these are original, they didn't come up with these ideas. Windows was pretty much stolen and everything else is based of another company's success. I'm just saying if they're a technology company you would think they would have came up with at least one thing on their own ;)
I'd have to agree. I personally ignore all the hype and will simply wait a month or two and see what real players are saying about them. I just don't see this stuff going any further than Wii type games in the mainsteam.
