Sure, hands down Avatar was great. Sure the story was old but this was a full 3D movie and well worth the price to see. Hell I'd still pay to watch it again, in the theaters.

Would have to agree. I use Hardline all the time and so far I've got an attack helicopter once, sentry gun twice, the rest is all rc cars and ammo packs.

This is why I make a new Steam account every time I buy a game. If they go subscription I'll simply craigslist the game and call it done.
Yes the patches will be addressing things like the UI lag but that's not the problem. The problem is that the majority of people simply do not like this game, lag or not.
They don't like the retainer system, so adding a "Search" feature is not going to change that. They don't like the gathering system (No Rares, Completely Linear - not the system itself), they hate the combat system, they hate the "Battle Regimen" system, they hate the "...
Pretty much, and we still are. The graphics are excellent but the game itself just plain sucks. They just extended our trial period yet again because they know most of us aren't going to bother paying for this piece of garbage once our free time expires. I was a major FFXI player and can't believe they failed THIS hard on this game.
Anyone that buys this for the PS3 would be making a serious mistake. It's going to take a lot more than a few patches to fix this one...; It's going to need a complete overhaul.
Couldnt agree more - Our company still uses Office 2k because we thought the new overhauls were complete garbage. I don't see us moving off of XP anytime soon either. Why pay those prices for buggy software?

Once I'm out of free time, I'm out of the game. Maybe I'll check back in a year to see if they completely reworked it from the ground up but in it's current state (including the upcoming patch notes), this game just isn't worth paying for. Kinda sad because I was looking forward to it.

I'll stick with my PC so my content isn't controlled or censored. SageTV + Hauppauge/Sage Media Extenders and I stream what I want to watch directly to my television without paying anybody or having anybody control my content. This includes DVR with Commercial Skip...; that is, IF I bothered to watch American Television anymore. I only watch television from other countries now.

So many words about this game I wouldn't be able to fit it all in this small box. Ass a huge fan of both FFXI and the FF series in general I am well beyond disappointed in this title. Once my free time is gone, I am gone as well until this game receives a MAJOR complete overhaul. This game is still effectively a beta and sure as hell not worth paying a monthly fee to play.

I got kicked out of Best Buy once for telling a customer that the hard drive the salesperson was trying to sell him could be bought at a store 2 blocks away from $75 less than was BB was trying to sell it to him for. For some reason the salesperson didn't appreciate my honesty ;)

Meh, I don't pay much attention to 'Bubbles' anyway. It's a pointless system when you will get marked up or down depending on who's 'side' you're on.
