Did you even read the full sentence, that is regarding UK sales only. The next part of the sentence links back to the article of global sales which is 4 million (inclusive of everything).
4 million is a global figure including the digital sales and this 80% drop is just in UK sales (which is a very small chunk of global sales). We don't know how much it dropped globally in second week. It maybe lower than 80%.
Because GoW is better. It's the best playstation exclusive this gen.
Yeah rdr2 uses last gen assets and yet it won nearly double "best graphics" awards than GoW in 2018 (you can check on goty site).

Overall, RDR2 is still the best looking game this gen. TLOU2 comes close second along with God of War.
It's gta online that has loading screens when entering buildings and that too only to provide players with a safe space from online chaos and other players. GTA V on the other hand has no loading for any building. You can freely enter each of the protagonist houses, shops, strip clubs etc.
@the_dark_one, gta iv has 48 perfect scores on x360, rdr2 has 57 perfect scores on ps4. Learn to count.
For a ps exclusive, yes you are right. Otherwise, gta iv, v, rdr2 and BotW have received even more 10s.

@Veneno Gta 4 was not a modest success. It sold more than 25 million copies (which was only 2 million less than Gta san), which is more than most blockbuster games. You can say that it is a modest success compared to GTA V though.
They have released those games with full single player story with over 100 hours of content. Anything else they do besides that single player is their wish. They are not obligated to release any single player content further.
Do you ask the same questions for Uncharted franchise for example? No right. They also make a complete and brilliant single player and then release updates for multiplayer. The only difference is that Rockstar is spending a lot more on their multiplay...
