Gears 1 was great
Gears. 2 was ok but it really hasn't aged too well in some areas, there's some really questionable level design choices, especially when your in the rift worm absolutely ridiculous, apparently Epic thought it was a good idea to play a game with no visibility, it wasn't hard just a stupid design choice, and there were several of those moments
Gears 3 excellent , refined gameplay , great level design to especially towards the en...
The Microwave tunnel in MGS 4 was completely stunning
The Wii U has sold like what 2 million units worldwide, so obviously software sales are gonna be low, also people should consider that its 35'000 in the UK, not NA,not Japan, not Europe as a whole, but just the UK I'm not sure how much the WII-U has sold in the UK but I'm sure it justifies the sales for that month.
I wish/ hope Sony would incorporate more RPG's into the PS4, The PS1/PS2 were the RPG capital of gaming, how anyone can be a fan of RPGS and not own either of those consoles is beyond me.
I would love to see a dungeon based JRPG exclusive on the PS4 not like Demon's Souls but more like Vagrant Story (favourite game)
I would also like to see more fighting games, a realistic one like Bushido Blade would be incredible.
Basically more of ...
Really , the changes made in Assassin's Creed sequels are really minor, here is what the two have in common.
* Both have used the same tired engine since 2007
* Both have pretty bland stories and characters
* Both have used the same repetitive game play motive since 2007
* Both are very profitable for their respective publishers
* Both just tweak a few things re-skins and calls it day
* Whereas COD single player feels tacked on, AC ...
Its amazing how people are quick bash the annual COD title then go on to hype and play the latest Assassin's Creed.
Annual number of video game related deaths = 0
Annual number of gun related deaths = 11'000
(the actual number is much higher when you factor in suicide)
I really hope more websites like this DON'T become the norm, That would essentially be the death of N4G, I heard someone say N4G is being paid off for this crap.
But what bothers me the most about this, is the phantom disagrees, and the false troll, spam marking that comes with it.
I find their games to be extremely overrated, I find them in general to be overrated, seriously there made out to be like a new Valve, or Id, but there games are just meh ,
I got down to playing Crysis last summer on my friends PC I've never felt so underwhelmed by shooter, the only reason why the gaming gives them the time of day is because of their tech
So by your logic a new console should release every 6 months ?
Maybe you should look up what happened to gaming in 1977, because of that.
Contrary to popular belief neither North Korea, Iran are a major threat, especially North Korea.
Now I know what you've heard about North Korea and hoiw they spend their a large amount of their GDP on their military, but their GDP isn't that big, in fact to my knowledge Australia spends more on their military than North Korea.
Another thing North Korea is like the land before time, allot of the technology they wield is quite dated, if their was a war ...
The game was a step above mediocre imo, it needed allot of polish, extremely glitchy, buggy, and the gameplay just wasn't all that refined, that and so many little aspects really grinde'd my gears like how quickly weapons break was laughably unrealistic.
It kind of annoys me how such a flawed game like this can sell this much, when there are tons of refined, polished games like Dark Souls that barely scrape a million, excuse me for raining on the parade
ain't that a bitch about Capcom, they've got so many great franchises still left under their belt, like Mega Man Legends, Dino Crisis, Strider, Onimusha, Final Fight, but given their recent track record, I think its best that these franchises should just be left as history, much to my dismay.
I actually prefer GOW 3, I liked Bayonetta more at first ,I initially didn't like any of the GOW games but they left a lasting impression on me I recently went back to play GOW 3 and it really is an outstanding game the level design is superb much superior to that of Bayonetta,
Some of the bosses are so huge there actually levels themselves, as in the level your on is a living breathing NPC, The sense of scale is mind blowing and the graphics my god just looks beautiful o...
Super Smash Bros Brawl scored in the mid 90's and sold over 10 million copies,
PSABR scored in the low mid 70's and hasnt even cracked a million
Don't shoot the messenger it is what it is , in comparison it is somewhat of a failure, but It still holds its own and I can definitely see the appeal,
I like PS I consider myself a fan, but I found PSASBR to be, really really boring especially in comparison to other fighters on the market, I'...
Dino Crisis 1-2 hell yeah I loved that game, Dino Crisis 3 in space was amazingly bad talk about jumping the shark,
those aren't Innovations, I'm sorry, 1st of all achievements have been in gaming for years ,all microsoft did was intergrate it into XBL, but the real question is do achievements really benefit gaming that much to be considered an "innovation" lol not really some people see it as one of the worst things to happen to console gaming in recent years
Home button, thats not much of an innovation , console gaming would be fine without it, but wait a minute didn...
Exactly remember that game Scribblenauts and how innovative and great it sounded , yet it was poorly executed, Innovation is one thing execution and refinement is another, having both is extremely rare
Just to add to what Smashcrashgrab's well said comment ,the word innovation has been thrown about allot this gen, for example people seem to forget that innovation does NOT mean improvement, the wii mote was a different way of playing games but it was never a better way of playing games hence why most 3rd party devs essentialy shunned the wii this gen, in favor of the ps3/360.
At best the Wii mote just worked, at best the controls were just responsive ,nothing more at wor...
It actually makes sense for microsoft to go all out casual next gen, think about it look at their focus in the last few years, look at the Wii-U it's certainly not appealing to casuals the same way the its predecessor was, really they have every reason to go for the casual approach, its a golden opportunity for them.
