I should've explained better. They can make the patch that puts back in the DRM mandate without anyone knowing or just role it off themselves, seeing as anyone who owns a working Xb1 will need to have internet when they first buy it. Most likely the second one.
To me, the damage has been done for Microsoft. The reversal, in the grand scheme of things made a difference, but a lot of people still don't want one. GREAT article. I loved this gen, despite all the problems. I've gotten into JRPGs like the Tales series, that have given me INCREDIBLE gameplay and story. 100% correct, but that was because the PS3 had a weaker GPU and due to the CELL, it was hard to develop for, so 3rd parties made games on the 360 and ported it to the PS3. I liked your comment.

Just hope Sony confirm 7GB of GDDR5 RAM for games soon. Hopefully at Gamescom. BUT... there is a rumor stating that the PS4 will use the full 8GB of GDDR5 RAM for games with another chip or something specifically allocated for the OS. It seems to have some truth due to this article:

Sony was never planning any of this. That patent in January was to let used work offline. They said 3 times before E3 the PS4 won't have any new restrictions. Ppl don't pay attention.

Sweet. This gen is gonna be great. Sony really have ticked all the right boxes this time around. Never considering always online DRM and blocking used games, understanding that a game console is for games and most definitely the power of the PS4.
