I wouldn't mind a few touchpad controls. Nothing major. I think that Noctis is going to have a smartphone, so they could use it for that. What I really want to see is how all those complicate moves are pulled off. Can't wait to see how tight the controls are.
I don't think it's gonna happen. I'll be happy to wait for the PS5.
Exactly. Even though the PS4 and XBO aren't using the full 8gb of RAM for games (6.5GB and 5 GB respectively, correct me if I'm wrong) what could be done with 512MB can only let you imagine what 5 or 6 could do, especially later on in the gen. Carmack can spin it all he wants, but from 512mb to 8gb is significant. Other devs have been saying that they're satisfied with the amount of RAM as well.
C'mon bro. Lol. How can there be confusion with the question: 'Is your daughter involved with the soundtrack of Kingdom Hears 3?'?
SE probably got angry and was like: 'We were gonna save that till the announcement of the release date!' She'll be in. I promise you.
@Foxtrot, I know what you mean, but there were many factors than just listening to the fans about FFVXIII. For one thing, the PS3 was a pain in the ass to develop for. Secondly, the Lightning saga and FFXIV got in the way and slowed down development even more. As far as Type-0 goes, it's almost pointless to localize it to the west for the PSP. Because that handheld is dead over here. The whole FF7 remake thing really doesn't bother me. I don't know why, but it just doesn't. <...
Fans may find it strange that Toriyama and Kitase are in this committee, but people like them know what needs to be fixed with FF, because they screwed it up.
Are you high by any chance?
Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's the exact same with every gen. The real stuff comes out later on.
Same here. I've been playing JRPGs for my whole life really.
I've also been playing a lot more niche games. Tales Of Graces F was my first game and I loved the gameplay. Then I went onto TOX and I loved that game even more. Personally I've been playing Japanese games more than western for my whole life.
And you're right about gamers. They complain about innovation, but no one's there when the game releases.
For EA, the PC is the main place of revenue. Am I right about that? PC gaming isn't dead, coming from a console mainly guy.
Whenever Quantic Dream shows off their PS4 game, I'm pretty sure pants will need to be replaced. If they're pushing the PS4 far beyond the Dark Sorcerer demo, then I'm hyped as hell for what the PS4 can do with not only realistic art styles, but cel-shaded and stuff as well. Also, actually playing the PS4 games on a 1080p TV will do the games more justice than watching them on YT. There player is so compressed.
This game looks much better on Gamespots player than YT. I'm not even getting the XBO, but this resolution is pretty good.
YT needs to make a new uncompressed media player. My fullscreen button isn't working. Is it the same for anyone else?
How did you get the idea that I think the PS4 is future proof. I didn't even mention Sony. But the PS4 isn't future proof anyway. Nothing is.
Every console has some form of over heating at launch. It's not that big of a deal for me, as I'm getting a PS4 next year earliest.
The apartment looks... wow.
I cannot wait to dive into this gen.
Hypes me up for what the PS4 can do with FFXV and KH3 as well. The PS4 is beyond powerful.
C'mon man. Do you really hate consoles that much? And to be honest, 4K is almost a waste of money, at the moment. When gaming takes a full transition into 4K, then it'll be a more feasible investment. The point is the XBO is not future proof. It is a next-gen console though.
Just what you'd expect from PC players.
There isn't a point in doing it. There's no noticeable market for RPGs on the PC. Plus, SE isn't that good financially (if they made it on the PC, they'd have to make different levels of the game), so porting to the PC is just a waste of time and money.
