Oh, hell no. Not this again.
If games on the Wii U keep getting gimped, people are going to be less inclined to get one. I hope this rumor isn't true. But after the Arkham Origins fiasco and the fact that a fully online MP game from Ubisoft (the Division) isn't going to the Wii U, I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.
Consoles aren't going anywhere. The PS4 is going to sell better than the PS3 in the long run.
Maybe for you, but not for me. I'm not even getting a PS4 at launch, but I'm very excited to get one. I'm excited to play The Division, I'm excited to play inFamous Second Son and I'm excited to pick up the Witcher 3. Those are just some of the games I'm excited for.
That's just me. There are loads of people excited for what the next-gen has to offer. Not everyone likes the PC. The PS4 has 1 million+ pre-orders from Gamestop alone. People are excited.
I didn't even think PC fans wanted this game to begin with.
A lot of PS4/XBO games aren't getting demos actually.
'PC Gaming Offers What The Consoles Never Can'
And vice versa. Consoles and PCs are completely different experiences.
Don't they say this sort of thing every gen?
I mean, the PS4 is definitely gonna outsell the PS3.
I can't wait to find out the resolution of AC4. This is getting very interesting.
1080p native? 1080p NATIVE?!
That makes no sense whatsoever. If BF4 is running at 720p on the XBO without occlusion, then there's not way in hell that the final version will be at 1080p native at 60fps. The game release within a matter of weeks!
You NEED to stop reading MisterXmedia's blog. That guy's probably taking a dump after this info. You're going to be very disappointed when Titanfall is confirmed to be at 720p/900p. Also, does anyone know the current re...
Hey, where the Sonic 06?!
Where Shadow the hardcore hedgehog?!
I'm joking, I'm joking.
Nice list Zerocrossing and good blog as usual.
Well, I knew this would get confirmed sooner rather than later.
2 things.
1. How in the name of hell could the XBO version be 720p? It should be running at 900p native at LEAST. Ryse is and it's much more demanding.
2. This basically debunks RTU's 'sources' about the PS4 version of COD ghosts running at 720p.
If we're already seeing this much of a gap in power at launch, then I can't imagine what it'll be like in a few years.
You're trolling, aren't you? I'm getting the PS4, but from the posts that I've seen, you favor the XBO. Plus, Titanfalls on the 360 and PC
OT: I'm not surprised by the resolution that the PS4 version is at, but what the hell happened with the XBO?
I know right?
I'm not too surprised about FFXV since XIII was on the 360, but KH? That game's gonna sell terribly on the XBO. It doesn't matter to me, as I'm getting KH3 and FFXV on the PS4 anyway.
I guess Sony didn't lock them down because of they're just not as rich as MS.
But anyway, Titanfall sequels are confirmed to be going to PS4 and who knows?
Maybe FFXV-2 will be a PS4 exclusive.
OT: I guess it is. MS has very deep pocke...
You PC guys aren't getting KH3 and FFXV and both the XBO and PC aren't getting any of Sony's 1st party exclusives. Stop being so insecure.
I really REALLY don't care about Titanfall. It looks good, but it's not going to be the best game of the gen like you're making it out to be.
I'm pretty young, but I love my physical stuff.
I love sitting on the toilet to read an instruction manual.
Target Canada sucks Donkey balls.
It almost sounds like he's a real world version of Jimmy Neutron.
I'm more interested in the GAMES consoles of this gen. Which is why I'll be getting a PS4 and Wii U.
There are useful things in the XBO in terms of multimedia, but I've got a laptop and a desktop for that sort of thing.
I don't know why everyone's on a doom and gloom trip going into this console gen. Consoles aren't going anywhere.
Exclusives don't hurt the consumer. If you want to play an exclusive, get the platform it's on. That's what sets apart the consoles.
Why? What games come out on the PC?
The PC is a decent platform, but it's not the be all end all of gaming. There are many games that aren't going to the PC.
No one said this was a launch title either.
If that's MS' mentality, they're going to be bleeding money by the end of the gen. Not to mention that most of the 3rd party exclusives you paid for will become timed exclusives unless you pay even more money. MS doesn't even help out with development. At least 3rd party exclusives like Deep Down on the PS4 are getting extra development help from Sony.
