I hope so, I'm hoping last week of october, maybe the 29th? I know Watch_Dogs is meant to be a day one launch title as is AC4, BF4 etc but I'm thinking maybe the next gen versions will actually launch a week or two ahead of their current gen counterparts to coincide with console releases. Also spreads the sales from their launches on each generation/platform out quite nicely.

Can I point out AMD are going to start selling APU's based on PS4's structure (with 4 instead of 8 core cpu's running at a slightly higher clock rate apparently)at the end of this year, and they have unified memory apparently. I'm assuming as they are based on PS4 this unified memory will be 4gb of GDDR5. So clearly somehow they've offset the issues as they plan to use some of this architecture for conventional pc's/budget gaming pc's.
If all they've taken from this is they need to message better then anyone buying an xb1 should be concerned. It means they still think their policies were right despite the hate. They want an excuse to have them return in some form later this gen. Sony could've pushed/paid for a PS4 port aswell. They could even get another developer todo it there are enough around they have Tin Giant doing this and that-often vita ports they don't seem to be experienced enough todo. But a port to 'simple architecture' (x86) with all the power and RAM of the ps4... Should really be a fairly simple job. I'm not saying it shouldn't be on PS3 but it should be on PS4 aswell.

I own a 4th broken ylod ps3, had 360gb replacements 2 in warrenty (one the disc drive went kaput, other YLOD) one I had to pay to have replaced where the thing got stuck in a recovery mode cycle. Then the 4th got YLOD and my little brother had purchased a ps3 (god knows why) so I use his. My point is this should at least be on BOTH PS3 and PS4. I think next gen versions of games can be released slightly ahead of the current gen versions. The games are usually done a month-a month and a half ahead of release sometimes more. With the new tech the games should as launch titles not be pushing the hardware too much and be easier to have running optimally than in a few years time. Therefore I suspect publishers are open to releasing next gen versions ahead of current gen ones, after all if they weren't they'd have set dates on the...
