I ordered mine a week before E3 when they still had provisional pricing and put a refundable deposit down with ASDA straight after E3-come end of the month when I expect asda will go to the next stage, i'll probably pay in full for preorder from asda and cancel amazon's one :p unless Asda have silly pricing or amazon have really good bundles that you can add to your pre-orders like they had with vita for reduced price

If when ps4 releases you aren't able to afford a gming pc, and might not for a while yet. Why not get on (or an xb1) to play the latest games and get the gaming pc after? I mean isn't that part of the reason consoles exist? At least then you'll be able to enjoy the latest games like Watch_Dogs, infamous, AC4, the division etc etc....
Yet no other developers have an issue with it yet?
Personally it sounds to me like the devs had been lazy not bothering to optimize at all for AMD cpus and utilising multi threading which would see benefits on multicore Intel Cpu's.... So I'm glad the new consoles will mean they have to sort this out and get their engine running better with multi-threading.
@nirwanda ok so both consoles are running the cpu cores at 1.6GHZ, yet the FCC passed the ps4 and said it had a maximum overall clock speed of... 2.7tGHZ(i think?) xb1 is running the gpu at 856MHZ(roughly i might be a few units out.) So the PS4's going by the FCC thing must be running at 950MHZ so actually he's right the gpu on the ps4 is faster aswell as having more CU units :p even if the extra speed is tiny ;) Someone tell the other troll btw that they are both running jaguar cores...

They aren't overpriced they are a fair price you could not build a PC that plays games to the same level for their prices. This is a bad idea... This site is testament to that-but in a gaming community like xbl it will be even worse. Yeah there is money, but for a select few companies-the rest will never make the millions of $ a year. I think if you start out as a fairly big dev it's generally easier to make money of a larger game if you an get the funding and advertising even if it just be mainly word of mouth at a higher price point. This is where companies go wrong-wheb they are doing well they get complacent Sony did it with ps3 and MS have done It to an extent recently and Nintendo deffo did it with Wii u. Sony should still try to secure more games for Japan etc purely to show that even when they are doing well they won't turn a blind eye to that market to pursue others they aren't doing swell in-art is in keeping EVERYONE happy.
I hope Sony buys them tbh-failing that then Nintendo. I think only those two companies can enable the companies future properly as they have the understanding of how the Deva Atlas often works with work, and funds to keep it going.
