Everyone's trying to manipulate the words around to make it seem like something is going to happen or something is going to change in regards to a console they own (usually these people only own console and become fanboys). It's sickening, and I'm not really surprised... A lot of those people are not very educated.

It is bad hardware, a combination of bad design and hardware in fact. The X-clamp used to hold the "current" heat sink in place is not a very good choice for the design of this product, and the amount of heat generated in combination with the x-clamp has the motherboard literally warp and causes the "weak" (emphasis on weak" solder joints.
