You pay $4 a month or whatever it is now for LIVE and yet you are nickled and dimed to death at every corner. If Sony cared so much about their pockets they'd be charging for use of PSN or to play online, they wouldn't give away free stuff on HOME, or let Sprint give a free game away on PSN.

Trying to compare the 360 failure rate and PS3 failure rate is like comparing the power of a nuke to a hand grenade. Get lost. I expect all electronics to have issues, its just what happens, stuff breaks sometimes. But a $1 billion dollar fix to a problem is no longer a mistake, its a catastrophe (sp?).

Voice chat was taken out a long time ago and supposedly coming back soon. I still contend that depending on what you are into HOME is either great or its not. I don't use it much but I do enjoy the EA complex and it keeps getting better, more content, more spaces etc. etc.

I don't think you can even come close to comparing the RROD failure rate of 360's to this YLOD with the PS3's. The %'s probably aren't even remotely close.
RROD was a BILLION $ problem for Microsoft, thats an issue.

Pretty nice update, hopefully they hit some bigger PS1 titles down the line. Really, really, want to see XCom UFO Defense playable on my PS3. That would rock hard.
Price is a little high on Patapon 2 considering they cut costs by doing no UMD. That Puzzle game at $20 is insane.

Waste of HDD space in your opinion maybe. But apparently theres a large crowd that diagrees with you hence developers are supporting it and Sony is doing more and more with it. I don't use HOME much b/c chatting and using the games they have on there aren't something I'd prefer to do over other things. I think we have some time left. Economy is down and these big companies know this. If anything they'll want to time it when its hitting the curve to turn around.

The interview was extremely interesting and I admit that I have some hope for it. The problem tho is they still aren't mentioning anything about what the prices may be. He discussed tiers and that demos would be free but what are we paying for? I saw options in the video to rent and buy so is this going to be like gamefly or something?

What exactly are the target subscription costs? There's been no mention of that and you know they have an idea already. Also hows that going to affect people that have internet caps or have to pay more for their usage?
