Master Chief:
A recent report also said the sky was falling. I could see how you can believe everything you read, like a developer *Bungie* stating they are releasing a full game rather than an expansion *Halo ODST* to ensure they get as many sales as possible.
Then again thats how the entire 360 crowd works right? M$ tells you want you want to hear and you run with it?
I played in the closed beta and didn't experience any lag, I was extremely shocked at how smooth it ran.
@ Mr_Fuzz
You'll need 3 boxes for when the other 2 break. ;/
I don't have tons and tons of time to play games so I don't have any Platinums. Don't get me wrong tho, I like the trophies. Going for trophies has really added something to games and helped with the replay factor. Because I don't have a lot of time I'd play a game for a bit then throw it to the wayside, not touching it again. Trying to get the trophies in it has made me realize that some games deserved the extra time that I ended up giving them, others not, but I have enjoyed them more than ...
Really? You applaud the choice to offer users a substandard option? You applaud choice when it is such as:
A. The current standard = x and you can do this; OR
B. You can utilize our console to achieve Y.
NOT
A. The current standard = Hi-def; OR
B. You can continue programing in 8bit.
Seriously, how can you applaud dropping back to a former standard when a better option is available? They should be pushing developers to give you t...
As I said above XCom UFO Defense deserved that top spot but the I didn't actually care for the other XComs such as Apocolypse. Maybe I didn't spend enough time with it but it just didn't vibe with me the same way UFO Defense did.
Good article. I was very pleased to see XCOM UFO Defense as #1. That game is insanely good. You can get it for like $5 via Steam. Finding on EBay for less than like $65 is nearly impossible on the original Playstation Disc.
I personally think Starcraft should be alittle higher up, although #16 is decent. It did kick professional gaming into a whole new level with what it did in South Korea which was simply astonishing.
Where was Quake and Duken Nukem 3D? Half Life s...
I'm not even clicking on this link so this kid can get a hit on his site? Savior of gaming? Give me an f'ing break.
Its up to the purchaser to use them responsibly. This guy is basically saying people can't be trusted with them because they could be used for mischevious reasons. Thats like blaming the gun when someone shoots someone. Its not the guns fault it was used improperly, its the person using it, and not all people are reckless or irresponsible with their stuff.
I've had a PS3 since release and been using Netflix for over a year and getting blu-ray discs and have NEVER experienced a problem. Much higher quality then old DVD's.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Full console.... right. Stop drinking the cool-aid before its to late.
Yay! We’ll get a shiny box with cooler lettering and like um a cooler manual!@ I can’t fricken wait…. and then and then we can all pay for the 2 map packs they’ve already said that are planned after the release….
yup, awesome. Bleed us more.
Reading the article no where does it say that MW2 IS getting subscription fee's. This is:
A) An attempt to get hits on a site.
B) More rumor.
It clearly says that a survey is being taken and that future CoD's or a future CoD MMO could have subscription fee's.
On a side note, to join in on the rage, I'll go on the record to state that would be crap to charge us when they are already announcing 2 map packs before the game is even out! :(
I'd agree with them wanting to sell those items as well because I'm sure its turning them a pretty big profit in that aspect. I try and remain optimistic as there's no harm to me if it doesn't happen and atleast the outlook seems good heh.
I do think Sony has good intentions with HOME, but I think with like the TV stuff in our spaces etc they ran into more issues then they accounted for. I'm sure movie companies etc have legal issues with allowing a bunch of people to view the sa...

Maybe it was a test run of future projects like it? Its very possible that they wanted to evaluate how the community handled it, responded to it and what the participation was like before they committed to projects with prizes, or announcements etc?
Obviously the possibilities are endless with it. We'll see if they capitalize.
Wasn't there a review yesterday about this game giving it a 2/5?
I like how any any article where a game is coming out for 360 + PC its a console exclusive, but when its Sony + PC its not. I also like how one day something is exclusive, the next its not, along with the other thousand articles that are and aren't.
Not everyone is a journalist, not everyone has "insider" info and therefor most of them should stop posting on their blogs and or N4G should stop posting TRASH.
This article is trash. This whole "we stole an exclusive" thing is crap as well. It was never claimed to be an exclusive, there was a MGS game on the original XBox and Kojima said he's not even working on Rising.
Stop with it already.
There's nothing "secret" about a Halo sequel...
I'm not even clicking the link on this failure of an article. I'm usually pretty level headed about my comments but people who moan and groan about a FREE BETA TEST drive me insane. If you purchased QORE to play that was your choice but others got in free.
