Without reading the article this reminds me of all those times as a kid I played games on the original Nintendo that made you scream, cry, and rage out of your mind about the AI being stupidly hard. Hearing that the AI cheats in a game does not shock me at all.
I wouldn't call them 'absolute geniuses at selling products'. I'd call the people who have purchased several of the consoles idiots for supporting a company who clearly didn't value their customers enough to treat them to a quality product. Kinect may do well simply because Microsoft will do what Microsoft is good at, and that is advertising. Clearly if they pump enough money into that, they will reach the masses who have been proven in the past to not read up or be knowle...
Day 1.
*News Flash*
Bobby boy Kotick says "My latest idea is that we could charge for more skillful AI characters in the new training mode". Gamers declare Bobby the anti-christ and millions buy his game to show their support.
/end sarcasm.
The CoD games are fun to an extent, I'll admit that but I refuse to support Activision in their pursuit to push the envelope on how far they can nickel and dime consumers. Nice addition from Treyarc...
@Spunnups, your asking a very subjective question. The best bet, like the user above me said, is to try the demo.
Personally I think the game was excellent for its price and the commentary during it had me lol'ing a couple of times :)
Hardly police brutality, not even close. That Officer handled that as best he could with the cards he was dealt. Some peoples opinions of abuse are just pathetic. The Officer clearly identified himself upon entering the video, not counting for who knows what happened before they started recording, and then clearly attempted to detain the guy with as little force as possible. You can see that by him attempting to pull his hand behind his back.
Rather than comply the guy pulls ...
1. Opinions pass as news on a site called 'News for Gamers'.
Lets change it to O4G.
Have a bubble on me MR. :)
I don't agree that the wii does it better at all, if it did we'd see better games on the Wii.
I haven't made up my mind about getting it. I 'want' it but dunno if I 'need' it lol. At any rate I'll enjoy companies battling it out for my $.
So you completely disagree with any and all advertisements done by any company? Cause thats what all advertisements are, an attempt to 'convince' people to get something, whether its through facts, sex appeal, peer pressure, etc etc.
Sounds and looks awesome so far. Removal of the assault class is pretty sweet as that crap was abused beyond belief. Although I'm a bit skeptical of this whole "skill" set you see in the MP video. Hope these aren't "perks". Extra health sounds way to much like juggernaut :/
I'll wait and see tho. Right now this is Day 1.
I'm getting the first one in the mail for the PC just to get the whole picture of the story before the second one comes out. That being said it REALLY blows that I won't be able to enjoy the ability of porting my character over to the second one and moving on from there.
Outside of any opinions about 3D with or without glasses years and years of churning out various versions of Mario have shown that people could care less what Nintendo puts out as long as its got the name Nintendo on it.
KZ3 will get my money. KZ2 had great MP features that are going to be made amazing in KZ3, along with already great graphics and good gameplay. This looks good but its not enough to sway me, nor is the constant sh*t the Crysis guys have talked so far.
My 60GB FAT PS3 with 4 USB ports and fully BC says hi. I hardly feel raped for my $600 purchase.
That being said I do agree the glasses are to much and they are raking in the dough on them.
New 3D TV would be awesome but I spent a pretty penny upgrading to HDTV right away with the BRAVIA I got. I have no regrets but I don't see myself spending a fortune like that again.
I'd say its more a competition thing. I'm sure many companies are guilty of it. They see a competitor coming out with a big title, they check out what they can, and call people to inform them of such. If it stalls the competition in anyway it might be worth the companies time and investment in attempting to cause the grief.
What? lol. Blizzard releases games when they are ready and no where near a fast rate.
I miss the days when games were released complete, and worked. But meh, another time, another era.
