Yes I know Nintendo is a business but its old hardware and traditionally in the video game industry profits come from games and accessories. They won't even open a new factory over a year after demand is high because once again their greedy bastards.

I pre-ordered my 360 collectors edition back in June of last year but I'm still going to be there waiting in the morning when they open and I'm taking off work Tuesday through Friday that week.

The real issue here is that its taken the PS3 this long to take off. With Playstation brand being synonymous with gaming and 120 million PS2's out there and only 22 million original Xbox's there was never a question Sony would win in the end. The 360's year lead should have meant nothing. Hell 360 only had like 3 decent games the first year...

Having the option to install on PS3 is great but when you sit down to play that new game you just bought you have to wait for 21 minutes to play it? Thats retarded and you Sony fanboys should accept it instead of trying to say its no big deal.
It should never be a requirement to install huge amounts of data to the HDD on a console.
Coming from a hardcore GTA fan with both a PS3 and 360 I'd have to say go with the 360 version. If you want the COMPLETE GTAIV experience you need the extra missions coming exclusively to 360. PS3 will get DLC as well but not the extra missions.

I have all three consoles. The DLC is what made me get the 360 version. I am not a 360 fanboy at all. I never understood the rabid fanboyism going on for one platform or another. I'm a fanboy of great games. Primarily GTA sandbox type games.

@pharmd - Do you actually play the story or just run around shooting and running over people? A lot of people just run around causing mayhem then complain "theres nothing new". If you played the story line missions between GTA III and San Andreas you'd know there were gameplay changes. Maybe not revolutionary but still significant.
I was really excited for Prototype but after seeing the hands on my expectations are much lower. Saints Row 2 will probably be better than prototype.

That's how Rockstar works. To say the DLC won't have much of an impact because little is known about isn't really realistic. Once the retail game ships I expect a massive marketing push my MS to hype the DLC. To say that the exclusive DLC won't have a favorable impact on the 360 is being a blind fanboy.
