You guys forgot Bioware got bought by EA and thats why the game is multiplatform now? They used to be independant so ME1 was published by MS.
I have to agree even though I love RDR and I'm a huge Rockstar fanboy... ME2 was just so good on so many levels.
There are several other great games like GOW3, Heavy Rain and AC:B up there too but they're distant behind ME2 and RDR in my opinion.

This sales "war" between Move and Kinect is to attract developers. It's risky to put money into adding motion to a core game or even worse more money on a motion exclusive game that is totally dependant on the device. Thats why add on peripherals are rarely successful unless your Nintendo at least.

That's a great point. Only thing I can think of being devils advocate is that the sell through data is fragmented by retailer and the retailers' willingness to provide the data. Maybe they do have deals where they get the sell through data back from at least the major major retailers so they know a good chuck.
But I totally agree the data is out there just as your example shows.
Clearly they've never used cross game chat and just want to blindly defend their console. There is no valid reason to not want cross game chat. Its like saying you'd rather walk then drive a car.
I like tryping out text messages to a bunch of people to coordinate a game. Much more fun that a 10 second voice chat.
Theres a banner now and then. Most of the time its for games or movies.

GTA lives and its stronger than ever. The fact that the game is going to the DS is further proof. GTA living or dying is not dependant on fair weather fans and haters like No Pudding.
Notice his reference to the 360... Obviously No Pudding has another motivation causing his hatred of GTA and it has nothing to do with quality of the games and everyting to do with blind emotion for a faceless corporation.
So PS3 already lets you chat with friends playing a different game than you and not in the same lobby as you huh? Thats funny... Why would everyone be clamoring for in game XMB if this feature already existed for an "age and a half"?

The primary issue with the PS3 version is the Gamespy servers. I've tried to get a party going with my friends since launch day. We all normally get on after dinner during peak hours... In other words that means we can't play together on the PS3 version of GTA IV.
for releasing 27 F'ing versions of there consoles within 2 years of them being out. Every hardware revision of a console should be tested to run software exactly the same. Thats the whole point of a console.
Now developers have to QA on 5 different versions of hardware before releasing a game? People need to stop pointing the finger at Rockstar and direct it at the platform holders too busy falling over themselves to compete that they don't test their hardware correctly.
I pre-orderd the 360 collectors edition because of the DLC but now with the IGN review and the fact I have friends on both XBL and PSN it appears the only option now is to get both versions.
I've never owned both versions of a multiplatform game before but with GTA IV how can you go wrong? This is a mega classic. If you can afford it get both.
