If you haven't noticed 360 and Wii fans are in the vast minority on this site. Go cry somewhere else. You have to be a little more "fanboyish" to get kicked from gamer zone. That was a slight jab. While I do agree GTA feels like a playstation franchise I still had to go the 360 route for the DLC.
Based on the current install base in the western markets, attach rates and exclusive DLC I'll be really surprised if the PS3 version sells more. It could happen based on brand recognition but the numbers are stacked against it.
Before you disagree with me I'm not taking smack about N4G's precious PS3. I'm just stating my opinion and factors that formed my decision...
Rockstar always keeps a lot of details under wraps.
I think a lot of the things they've released so far are intentionally refuting "issues" critics saw with the trilogy. Targeting and Police AI are good examples.

There are good things and bad things about all three consoles. The comparison to religion and polictics hit the nail on the head. People will blindly spin anything bad about their console of choice like its going to personally effect their lives. The PS3 people should own up to this failure. And thats what it is. With all the power the PS3 has it still had to force a 22 minute installation of half the game data just to make it run with acceptable performance.

If you didn't own a 360 before your PS3 there are tons of things you think are acceptable because you don't have frame of reference. Centralized in game voice chat anyone?
I remember when my hardcore Sony friend called me and was like "Hey I can see what game you're playing right now on your friend icon!!" Yeah we've been doing that on 360 since forever...
I've said it before and I'll say it again. No matter how much the hardcore fanboys try to pump up the "Console War" everyone including MS knows their chances of "Winning" the war this generation are pretty slim. MS is in this for the long haul. Just like the original the 360 is a stepping stone.

While its possible MS would come out with another system in say late 09 or 2010 I think they'll continue to support the 360. The PS2 model is exactly right. From a business stand point it makes a lot of sense. Keep the 360 around for the low price point while bringing out the new 720 or whatever for the high end hardcore gamers.
This time making sure backward compatibility works like a champ. With BC the two console approach really works... It did for the PS1 to PS2 transition....
IF the PS3 gets exclusive content thats not available on 360... YES! I'll own both versions. Simple as that.

Walmart is normally the first to ban something because of the "heartland", "family friendly" bull crap image they're trying to maintain. Target only follows Walmart on these types of things. I'd be supprised if they took the first step in censorship on their own.

Having this as an OPTION would have been a bonus for the PS3 version but instead they make it mandatory. What if you have a 40GB PS3 and filled it up with videos and you don't have a full 5GB of space? What you going to say those people are wastes of life to because they don't want to delete tons of data before they can play a freaking gam...

I think what he was trying to say by the "Sony is left with nothing" is that with MGS4, Home and LBP already been announced and talked about a lot there really isn't much new left but to announce a firm release date for Home and LBP. Everything else is way out...
