Definitely thought it was Alan Wake 2. I mean, the flashlight! Haha! It felt like Alan Wake even with the art style.

I assume that they're holding off for next-gen which is supposed to start next year.
My main issue I think was the combos. Didn't look fluid enough, but it looks polished and fun which is what's important. It reminded me of Star Wars 1313 in a good way.
This isn't the full patch notes though and mostly gameplay balance tweaks. :)
Thing is, this feels like Treyarch's doing than Activision. If you check the other CODs, it's not as scummy as this. Only Treyarch's is always like this.
I agree. Treyarch was the best COD studio after Infinity Ward was gutted. But after BO2, everything went downhill. What's interesting here is, other COD games didn't have this kind of locking weapons behind loot boxes thing, which leads me to believe this is Treyarch's idea and not Activision.
Definitely a good move and is a win-win. Players get other people to play with, Acti's games gain more players and in turn, die out a lot slower.
They said they'll bring it back at some point though.
