Btw this is easily explainable. Back in 2005. Nobody bought games on amazon. It was the last years of brick and mortar releases. Steam was still pretty young. its just a play on numbers.
Online only one con outweighs the pros which was enough for me to decide to not get it.
Sink hundreds if not thousands of hours for a ridiculously rare drop. Item drops "sorry you have been disconnected" pops up on screen. Before you have a chance to grab it.
comcast just isn't reliable enough to justify this game. And im on a 25mb down 6mb up plan. It still goes down on comcasts end just as much as dsl did back in 2003.

Actually ps3 is limited in that anything pushing 256 mb of ram can't be done. It means 360 can put out larger amounts of memory while you have to split it in half on ps3

I'm on a comcast 25mb down 6mb up plan and I still disconnect on their end (which is confirmed when I call to bitch at them and they tell me my area is down) just as frequently as DSL did back in the day.
in MMO's it's different. I can disconnect and my character is saved. Then it becomes a problem with me and my ISP. In singleplayer games forcing an always online throws a huge wrench in that mix.
