yes it is on its way out but that's not a bad thing. like you said those graphics held up quite well through 2 generations.

big pc gamer here and had witcher 2 day 1.

That and I've been enjoying Deus EX: HR in 1080p dx11 max settings @ 100fps. I couldn't have asked for a more silky smooth buttery fluid game.

if we are talking pure artistic style gears of war has a better art style. say what you want about roided chainsaw wielding freaks but the art style is miles above a style that models its characters after the voice actors.
If you're talking about background scenery then witcher 2 takes the cake there.

it makes them more of a support role tbh. They either help finish someone off or take out a huge chunk of hp for the people pushing to finish off.

@blackknight and people forget that Alpha is unoptimized so fps will be higher at higher. HOWEVER alpha was 32 man servers. The amount of mayhem going on when you add another 32 could be over doing it on a 460
