Best console game should not be limited to action/adventure or shooter only.
If you put the time and effort into your game coming out for console you deserve a shot.
Its a shame its really good press for both companies. Especially since theres no chance in hell a judge is gonna side with bethesda.
Bethesda has the chance to turn negative press into positive press here and possibly set out to do which has a million to one chance of winning in court.
Either way they gain some koolio points with pc gamers, game journalists, and other developers. Or a chance to trademark a game called scrolls if they win.

I liked the three kings approach bc1 took. After they made the characters with a more serious tone I lost interest.
I hope to god that at least 5 years go by before they even announce l4d3. Talk about milked. that was an activision move they pulled.
and for the record they invited the heads of the boycott to Valve hq in Seattle where they spent the day playing the game. After they felt satisfied that Valve regained their senses the boycott was called a success and ended. This was before l4d2 launched btw. hence why so many people were playing it day 1.

yup 500k digital copy copies makes more money than a console game selling 2 million at retail.
developers are catching on and if you've noticed every publisher is now quick to appease the pc player base that their game won't be consolized.
In this case I'm gonna wait a few weeks until the game comes out. high res textures, adjustable fov, no mouse accel at launch would have to be in game day 1 in order for me to buy it.

Don't know about anonymity being the reason darkride. I got into a couple fistfights over goldeneye due to my smack talking in my day. I also still say the same things about ps3 and cod at work when the topic is brought up.
