unless the origami killer is different in alternate endings....there is no replayability. The only playthrough that matters in a game like this is the first. If I were to play it again it would feel like a cutscene where I'd do whatever possible to make it go faster.

The trend has started. The new gen will begin as more and more developers continue to push the pc hardware thats been released over the last year that leaves consoles in the dust.
I came across a copy yesterday and decided I'd buy it retail.
Well I beat and while it was a good game. There is no replayability...Now I'm gonna be trading it in tomorrow.
Sucks...shoulda rented it. Only buy it if you can spare the cash. If you're on a budget it's definately a rental.
I played the demo...looked like a ps2 game
BUT
I enjoyed the gameplay. has a streets of rage/final fight air about it. An uncut version would have sealed the deal for me. It's definately a rent though.

So the hardware inside the consoles is beginning to become a turn off to game developers. while Directx11 is looking to be more and more awesome
It makes sense. Publishers care about sales, Developers that aren't blinded by their publishers will (see IW) care about making the best game possible. That can only be accomplished on the pc.

ya it is true that sony fanboys are easily exploited but come on. They really pulled out all the stops to milk the GO. Probably the first time ever I've seen the Sony faithful realize Sony is ripping them off. So they gain a couple of respect points from me.
