I won't argue that I know 360 fanboys are fail. But a different breed of fail. To me 360 gamers in general (not just fanboys) are the source for the real gaming issues today. For example they are the source of income and the justification Dev's and Publishers needed to make the disease known as DLC "ok". They make/made it ok for publishers to gouge gamers in general.
Far different from ps3 fanboys. Who are just so blinded by loyalty to a corporation that cares nothing ...

Well I think everyone saw this coming 100 miles away the day they decided to give the pc community the cold shoulder.
In all my years of pc gaming I've never saw a game released with so much bugs, glitches, connection issues, and balance issues. Console gamers got to see this first hand which is pretty hilarious as it used to be console games that usually didn't need patches.
what's sad is most of the console gamers that now know how bad MW2 is will STILL shell out...

WoW won't die until Blizzard kills it themselves. That much is for certain. But it is looking like WoW has peaked and so far has been able to maintain that peak. But the only other way for it to go is down.

I've actually given my reasons for my dislike of ps3 fanboys.
It's not the system but the fanboys remind me too much of apple zealots. I've had my fill of mac vs. pc debates years ago. When I came to n4g I could have swore ps3 fanboys were the same zealots I was debating in disguise.
It's like drinking 20 some shots of whiskey one night. Years later you still can't stand the smell of it.
jeez when are the consoles going to get a program like ventrilo or teamspeak. Both of those have been around for over a decade now.

I have 2 gaming pc's, a 360, and a ps3. I have a big family and because of their financial situation I'm the source of my brothers and cousins video game entertainment.
For the time being I'm gonna wait until they announce what this premium content is before I go and cancel my extra pre-order though. It won't be an issue to me if its just skins or apparel type items.
if premium content is visual goodies only then I can care less, I won't buy it.
But if we're talking weapons, and upgrades...I guess that means one of my two pre-orders is gonna be cancelled.
It's a great game that got great sales. Mass Effect is probably the best IP this gen.

Without Turn 10, damage in racing "sims" wouldn't be a realization. What is considered competition in the gaming/hardware industry results in greater satisfaction by the consumer. Much like without ATI/Amd, video cards or cpu's would not be where they are and definately not be as affordable as they are today.
It's never a bad thing to have favorites just as long as you realize the competitor of your favorite can only do more good than harm to gamers.
gaming dev's don't even have to support this. It's a simple concept. A small, simple standalone background app that runs as a background process in the ps3/360 where you're allowed to invite friends to your comm channel. The only issue would be bandwidth but at least the option would be there.
It doesn't have to be flashy but jeezus this HAS to be one of the next steps if Sony or M$ want to up the online gaming experience. Being able to talk to your friends no matter what game yo...
