You'd think they would've just thrown Dogmeat at the player in the first town. Very odd how out of the way it is.
I expected a few hundred more comments on this. I guess the angry DRM mob is over at Amazon.com trying to give the game one-star reviews or something.
There's things you can do when you're making a grainy, isometric game for a niche market that you can't do with a 3D global release.
Seriously, doesn't anyone really miss it? How many games can you actually kill kids in besides BioShock?
The Republican argument of the moment seems to be that the difference between capitalism and socialism corresponds to the difference between a top marginal income-tax rate of 35 per cent and a top marginal income-tax rate of 39.6 per cent. The latter is what it would be under Obama’s proposal, what it was under President Clinton, and, for that matter, what it will be after 2010 if President Bush’s tax cuts expire on schedule. Obama would use some of the added revenue to give a break to pretty...
LRN2VATS?
Didn't they give GTA4 a 10.0? I'd imagine that would be the GOTY for them right there.
Relax. The man can still have an opinion, no matter where he's from.
You'd think he was in the running to be some sort of leader or something.
I was just being sarcastic. Some other article on the front page is like, "WARNING - THE GAME ENDS!!!!" I expected some hiccups with this game - it seems like the more freedom a game has, the greater the possibility of bugs. All I'm going to say in the game's defense is: if you think this was buggy, play Fallout 1 or 2 without patching them.
I wanna start collecting money to get Kordell Stewart on the cover.
Is this another fake bug article? Does the "lock up" occur when you hit the pause button?
Being able to play after the credits really is the exception rather than the rule. You can count games (or, rather, series') that let you do it on one hand.
WARNING: Game ends!
I don't know if a plant would be giving the movie a 6.5
I'd be worried if I didn't max out on save slots on every game I play, compulsive as I am.
Like Half-Life, it's trying to adhere to a strict first-person perspective.
Also, the game does pick up a bit after the first few hours.
Because no one drinks cobra or tiger milk.
I'm not surprised Far Cry 2 wouldn't get "perfect" scores. It's their first attempt at a very ambitious design. That all being said, first day purchase for me.
I take the criticism that "it doesn't have a multiplayer/singleplayer" to be more of a criticism of the mode the game DOES have. Like no one complained about BioShock having no multiplayer because the single player was awesome. I agree that if the online coop ends up being broken on Fable 2, I'd be annoyed at the review. However, if there's no technical problems, the coop and single-player are sort of the same content, aren't they? Ultimately magazines/websites want their review to ...
Bells and whistles? I wasn't aware they sold premium models :P
