Meh, I'll keep MW2 too. They're different enough games that I can appreciate them both. I'll definitely have less time for MW2, though.
Tim Schafer was interviewed before Brutal Legend's release and was asked whether he was worried about the game's sales (or something to that effect). He said that ultimately if you make good games, publishers are always going to want to talk to you. Heavy Rain's been doing well in reviews so I don't doubt he'll get to make more games.
They had some footage on GameTrailers a few weeks back. It seemed pretty similar to what we've already seen. Still, I liked how it looked last year so no complaints here.
The subtle art of headline writing.
I'm pretty sure Remedy had nothing to do with the Max Payne film. Maybe they'll exercise more control over an Alan Wake adaptation?
Both games have people in them. I'm pretty sure that's where the similarities end.
I don't mind the idea of a game becoming a movie. I just mind the fact that they never turn out well. Can't blame a developer for wanting to capitalize on a hit, though. If it gives them the sort of money necessary to make more games, then why not?
I wouldn't call Fable bad but I'd agree there are stronger RPG's out there. You really have to love all the sim aspects of the series to appreciate it, I think.
They never said it was an exclusive. The only previews so far have been in PC magazines but Eidos hasn't declared any sort of exclusivity.
It's because it's not a gory game. The enemies are these spirits you kill with light. I think Arkham Asylum showed you can have a pretty dark game with a Teen rating, though.
Nah, I think this date will stand. The game looks pretty much complete. I like that they didn't give it a holiday release. New IP's just don't do too hot when they're competing against Call of Duty and all those other sequels.
That's the wrong release date.
At first I thought this article was about a port of that game with the earthquake guns.
Nah, buying power-ups is still too taboo for anyone to try. The worst they'd probably do is give you unlockables quicker than everyone else - which really isn't a bonus in my view because it's giving you one less goal to attain in the game.
There's a .la domain suffix now?
Do you think ME2 would actually be better if they had shown nudity? I don't see how it contributes to the overall enjoyment of the game.
"No one is complaining about the lack of T & A in Mass Effect"
BioWare wouldn't have said anything if there weren't any complaints. The article's referencing their response to fan comments on their forums. Are they stupid complaints? Definitely. But they exist.
Well, I think about how much better the last third of that game was compared to the first two thirds. It was only toward the end that you really started to feel like a superhero. A sequel that starts out at that level would be interesting. There's also a lot of ways in which they could flesh out the open world side of the game. The optional content was a bit shallow, truth be told.
Yeah, I mean it's not like there's any shortage of places to see boobs.
Heavy Rain actually black screened on me. Oh, but they sure got Microsoft good with that joke!
