I really liked WCW vs. NwO Revenge as well. Same developer as No Mercy, according to Wikipedia. I was a WCW man back then.
Second one didn't suck, either. I mean it's not as near and dear to me as the first one but it's still a lot different from most shooters. Worth the bargain bin price tag.
They're a new studio. Do you know how EA changed the Dead Space studio's name from EA Redwood Shores to Visceral Games? The two guys heading up Visceral were hired away by Activision to run Sledgehammer.
Well, Microsoft doesn't own Bungie anymore so they can't fire anyone. Would be quite a trick if they did.
I suspect we won't find out what exactly happened with the Infinity Ward bosses until a lawsuit begins. Activision had claimed the firing were caused by "breaches of contract and insubordination," which could mean any number of things.
I think that has more to due with the specific gameplay demands of MAG (large-scale shooter requiring coordination for success) than with PSN being inherently more mature than Xbox Live.
Ah, I gotcha. The method of retrieving the information. It was an online survey, actually. No mention of the actual methodology beyond that (what sites and so on), though.
Article says 18,872 people were polled. As the NPD is a North American outfit, I'd imagine that's where they were located.
That's a load of garbage. I own both consoles and have been called some very, very foul things on either service. Difference seems to be that more 360 owners own headsets so there's more of that sort of chatter.
They're definitely reworking Azshara even if they don't add that BG. Great news considering how much that zone sucked.
Oh, to live in a city that actually wants the Olympics. My town (NYC) was in the running for the summer games but lost.
Yeah, the urge to skip work the next day is too high if you end up staying up until 2 playing the game. If I pre-order a game, I tend to do it at the GameStop near my office.
Are there ANY instances of the mentally disabled being portrayed positively in games? I'd be extremely surprised to see that. Seems much more likely that they'd be used as cheap joke fodder.
I'm guessing he was joking. The games aren't even all that similar. You never know on the Internet, though.
Yeah, I imagine they'll develop the exploration aspect of it a little more in the next one. It probably won't be as open-ended as Oblivion but still. I just hope they make the boss fights a little more varied. It seemed like all the bosses were just one trick ponies. Those encounters always got very repetitive.
I love it when sites make a story out of no information being revealed. Example: "Sony on PS4: No Comment"
Unfortunately, I've heard it's a bit short. Maybe it'll tide you over until Awakening, though.
I'm an RPG fan so I just love the whole process of earning XP and trying out different weapons/kits to unlock new stuff.
That being said, yeah, the game can be frustrating. I'm bad enough at the game that I often assume it's due to my own failings rather than exploits, though.
Comments and hits. The quicker a story picks up each, the better. It's how some sites consistently get their stuff on the front page. They all comment-bomb it and get it up to 30-40 degrees before it's even approved.

Heh, fair enough, there were a lot of WWF wrestlers in WCW. I wouldn't consider them the best, though. Hulk Hogan's an awful wrestler from a technical standpoint. Still, plenty of original WCW wrestlers were quality and ended up being signed by WWE. WCW had some great cruiserweights, for example.
