you cant compare that screenshot to any in gears of war, and you cant compare it to the ingame shot of Halo 3, BUT with all the freakin hype, a 2 HOUR PRESENTATION just for KZ2, and expectations around the world, I would bet that we will be impressed.
I'm a 360 fan, and looking forward to Halo3, and gears is my favorite game, but the only game i'm looking forward to seeing from Sony is Killzone
it would be nice for gears 2 to come out next Nov, but i doubt it. I think it will come out with release of movie maybe in 2009, but Nov 2008?? i just think thats too soon.... epic is going to need more time. I mean they got Unreal 3 coming out this year which i'm looking forward to almost as much as Halo. You cant expect them to dish out a new game every year? can we??
i tried the laptop last year at some convention in NYC... it's nice, and it's wireless, but after a while your confined to having your arms/hands too close together which can be uncomfortable after a while.
but it is cool :)
cool.... loved Painkiller with its great graphics, good storyline, and it was just mindless fun but nevertheless FUN. And dont forget the music, heavy metal will get anyone siked up...

you know Chemical, i never looked at it that way, all early PS3 adaptors are getting screwed for getting it early and paying the bug bucks and still no games except one (R:FOM), and now they go and do a price drop? and if you buy it this month you get 5 free blu-rays??? its a GREAT DEAL if your loking for HD player that as a bonus plays games.....but guys like Chemical get the SHAFT
maybe your trying to get a rise out of everyone here....yes I agree that PS is getting some good games this season, but FACT is M$ has the advantage of games coming out, from role playing to shooters, etc, etc, and of course how can you forget the three expected blockbusters this season are all on 360....HALO (360 exclusive) Madden (60fps) GTA4 (exclusive content)
And yeah Wii has Mario, PS has Rachet, but you forget 360 has Banjo... so 360 has something for everyone
what does Nintendo have to worry about? i still cant find them at a retail store? they have ta solid line-up with Mario, MEtroid, and Smash Bros.... even some of the hardcore with be wanting to play those.

agreed.... i think they will be adding rumble in their new 80gig sku, and phase out the 60 gig. because we all know the rumble is coming
$499 is still too expensive for the mass market gamers..... but it paves the way for blu-ray. unless there are some cheap hd-dvd players coming out this holiday season, anybody looking for blu-ray should get a PS3.

and a $20 difference between the two PS3 just for 20gig hard drive and a free game doesn't seem worth it..... i'm guessing they will probably be included the new rumble/sixaxis controllers....then your back to having to buy the $599 system all over again thus discontinuing the 60gig version.
yeah, agreed.... because at $499 only 20 bucks more than the elite, its a hell of a bargain. I have two 360 and I know the PS3 is worth the price. IT just doesn't have the games i like, (gears, halo)
BUT M$ has always said they are 100% commited to their gaming division, so i expect a price cut this week. You can't have the elite and PS3 priced so close, not with the blu-ray in PS3.
fact is this is one of the greatest games ever. period.

Graphics, story, gameplay, everyhing was pretty much a solid 10.
last gen, xbox was more powerful console but lost to PS2 due the games, even though PS2 had a rough start. Same with this gen.
I stopped "hanging out" with Sony when they lied about their launch PS2's being tested when they were prototypes. The problem there was that they had to be taken to court to finally admit that they sold prototypes to the public because they were behind schedule. Ironically enough, the PS3 actually seems to be reliable.

well, if Sony needs the chance to catch up, this is probably going to be it's only chance. People might be a worried about buying a 360 now, especially with a price drop coming for PS3.
but M$ will rebound, fix the hardware issues, and price drop will come for 360 too......can anybody say "$199 sweet spot?"
E3's has to be HUGE for M$ also to get attention back to the games, while Sony will be pointing out MS hardware issues.

same went for GTA4 and now Madden. Once they found out 360 was getting exclusive GTA4 content, then they starting with the GTA series isn't that good anyways...etc.etc. And today it was announced Madden is getting 60fps verses PS3 30fps, now they all go out saying Madden sucks anyways, and they are going to get American pro football.

MGS4 i believe will come to 360. Just my opinion, not trying to piss anyone off, but sony messed up this generation making such an expensive console, powerful yes, but too damn expensive. Will never reach the mass market. M$ made a GAMING console with potentiol to hit mass market possible this year.
