Best wishes, man. I hope it all works out for you.
I just realized how salty I sounded in my comment!
I was just taken aback because I don't think I have ever seen a video like this on N4G and I have been here for quite a while.
I will say, it was a well produced video.
This is some really good information that is not immediately obvious to players of The Phantom Pain.
Tips 1, 2, 5 and 10 are interesting and great to know for my first playthrough.
Also, huge props to the author and GameInformer for keeping it real and putting all 10 tips on the same page. No click-bait crap here. Love it.
Who the heck is this guy? How is this article even getting traction?
No offense, but what is the point in reposting a let's play video from youtube?
This is not news or anything.
Edit: I know it's you that posted it, ADG, but this isn't a place to advertise your youtube content, man. I don't see how this article got approved.
Then again, they haven't done much to generate any excitement. I am very excited for this game though :D
They only need to do a little advertising *outside* of Japan and there will surely be enough excitement to make it worth their while.
Also worth noting that their cinematics had English voice overs so there's some hope there.
I really don't know why you got so many thumbs-downs...this community really cracks me up sometimes..
You're right about it being fixed now AND I am super pumped that they are looking into bringing OG Xbox games to backwards-compatibility.
I still have my original Xbox and I'll probably just stick to using it for original games, but I'm happy for everyone else.
Best way to boycot and still play is to hold off a few days for some sap to return their game and buy it used. The store you buy it from gets the support instead of Konami :P
I'm going to go to all of the stores in my area with a labeling device and do this to every copy I can find.
In a game like Halo, split-screen should be in there at all costs. That is how I first experienced Halo. I played through the entire first campaign with my cousin on split-screen and in later games I have played split-screen Halo countless times with my friends.
In high school, we even had a gaming club and would system link two xbox's, each with 4 way split-screen. So much fun.
Yeah, I use LMB and RMB anyway.
It says:
“A scale test is the very first version of the map where we normally have the first playtest internally as a game team to test the Conquest map size, distances, and rough flag layout.”
This is a scale version of the map. It will be bigger if the Community Test Environment feedback is good.
Be sure to read the article too, not just look at the pictures and make a conclusion.
Played the demo for this. Ride is the exact same game as MotoGP 2014, just with a different skin, bike and track selection. This should have been DLC for the MotoGP game. Even the UI and controls are identical. What a lousy shame.
I would love to have a truly good motorcycle game.
Sorry! Didn't realize I posted that first comment. :P
Probably The Last of Us...or World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, or The Elder Scrolls, or Halo: Combat Evolved.
Probably The Last of Us...or World of Warcraft, or Elder Scrolls, or Halo.
Yeah it has to be an effect of an inductive field from the light.
I personally believe that The Last of Us has better facial animation than this, although this is still fantastic.
Edit: After a second look, they honestly look like they had numbing injections, but what little movement they do have looks great.
Way cool! I'm definitely working on my own collection as well.
This is some good inspiration.
It's funny...as I read your comment, my friend is sitting behind me in my room playing The Last of Us on my PS3. He's hooked on it.
The visuals are still great on the PS3 version, and the voice acting and musical score are some of the best, alongside the Halo games I've been playing for years.
The PS+ version delay does suck and it does disappoint me. I can understand exactly why everybody feels the way they do, and I totally agree! But we just need to keep in mind that with a flagship racing game like this...we're lucky to be getting a free version regardless of a delay. It's a great business model in my opinion and I think more devs should try it with their games.
Just don't forget that the PS+ edition is *free*. So we're only paying with patience..
I totally agree. When I looked at it in the article I immediately thought it looked almost exactly like Xbox's UI and we aren't wrong for thinking that...I mean, just look at it!
Still a nice change. It works well and is easy to look at.
