As far as 4k benchmarking is concerned, yes you're absolutely right.
But for the vast majority of gamers that are not looking at the 4k benchmark, this gives them an unrealistic idea of what to expect with their computers. That's all I was saying.
It's unrealistic because FPS also correlates with the CPU. Somebody with a GTX 970 will look at this benchmark and think "Oh wow! I can run Fallout 4 on max settings @ 60 FPS on 'x' resolution!" when they might actually have only a mediocre CPU and significantly less than 16 GB of DDR4 RAM @ 3000 MHz...
They will not live up to the results that this GPU benchmark gave them the impression of.
The original Xbox interface was incredibly advanced for it's time.
The Xbox Live interface on the original was leaps and bounds ahead of any competition.
I miss it so much...
And then the Xbox 360 Blades UI was also extremely functional and unique looking. Really an eye-catcher of a UI, in my opinon.
Do you think Tomb Raider will really run that much better on your PC?? I'm assuming it isn't a very capable computer.
Performance benchmarks like these really, REALLY annoy me.
The computer they used to test these GPUs with consists of an Intel i7 5930K CPU , Kingston 16GB DDR4 Predator RAM clocked @ 3000MHz, and an EVGA X99 Classified motherboard.
CPU = $580
RAM = $250
Mobo = $400
All of those components are extremely high end.
Get real. The average gamer will not have anything close to this.
Such an unrealistic benchmark, like most...
I know right?!
I already pre-ordered it for myself and my friend, haha.
Lucky for you, there is now an animated version of The Fall of Reach novel so you can learn all about the history of Chief and Blue Team.
@Benchm4rk, I completely agree with your observation about it being 343's Halo 2.
Let's hope they make Halo 6 all Chief gameplay.
Zombies, bro. It's the biggest zombies experience ever.
That's not the point. It would be ridiculous to be punished for one quit.
The point is the punish people who constantly quit.
I agree that the environments were amazing. To be on Sanghelios was awesome and Genesis was such a beautiful planet.
I also agree that the story is on a much more personal level and it spices things up.
But I don't think it was the best one, but it's up there.
I think the campaign was pretty good, *however* it should have had MUCH more time playing as Master Chief...not just 3 stinking missions...and the ending was very interesting, but underwhelming in my honest opinion.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it. I was able to play it from start to finish without stopping and I stayed engaged in what was happening, but again, it's really a shame that it ended the way it did. It was kind of interesting, but it was like "That's it?!&...
Only 5000 copies of the Limited Edition will be made. That's going to sell out quick. The concept art is gorgeous.
My favorite tree! :D
I haven't played The Witcher 3 yet and I think I'd rather play it has it was originally intended to be played, while Hearts of Stone sounds like a great idea for people looking for a second playthrough.
Two reasons I love you:
SOCOM fan.
FZ6 fan.
I have had actual dreams that I was playing Socom with my best friend like we used to back in the day. I'd do anything for a real SOCOM game to play online.
Don't forget it's an RPG before it's a shooter (:
Exactly. I think they just need to either makes tanks move considerably slower and/or have a slower rate of fire, or nerf the damage and make them just really good suppression.
Nothing aggravates me more than getting sniped by a tank from across the map.
Can't wait to try the box sledding! xD
Haha you should seriously do some more research, buddy (:
Just so we are clear, I simply price checked the specific components used in this particular benchmarking rig from the article.
