At that time back then, the last gen I think already had a superior library. I still wonder whats to come. No Bioshock, no Silent Hill, no Borderlands, no new FF, no new Diablo...
Whats the point of having advanced hardware, if only a fraction of the target audience buys it ? Its like the Wii U thing. People will think its just an upgrade to their existing console, not really groundbreaking.Especially since the One S is 4k, too, in the advertisements.
Personally, I dont really care about portability. I dont spend time on the train, and I got better things to do before sleeping, like come down and read a book. To me, the portability is to Switch what many considered a useless gimmick to Wii U, the gamepad. Instead, I would have preferred a modern standard console that has at least the graphical power of an Xbox One. Also the strange voice chat concept is awkward.
Dont people ever have enough of Pokemon ? Where I work, and two of my friends in the 40s, middle aged adults play Pokemon go. Its a bit bizzarre.

I rather have a console that can do 4k games than a console thats underpowered now and obsolete in 2 years.
Lets wait for gamescom. I guess 200000+ potential customers are a more interesting audience than E3.
Because SP makes no sense for certain types of games, obviously, and shoehorning it on costs time and money.

Its true, lets step back and enjoy the simple fact that with the Pro and the 1X we enter the 4K era. And it went quite fast actually, it seems to me 1080p was taking much longer to spread across the games developers (on console). Another thing is performance, though. I still see popups, not perfect antialiasing etc. To me, a game that runs at 1080p60 and has no such things would be preferrable to a game that runs 4k30 and has popups and aliasing. Lighting has come so far by now, its gorgeous....
I am set for Anthem anyway, Bungie can keep their soulless moneysink.
Microsoft should rethink it all.They arent approaching gaming from the "these are the games we want to make, and this the hardware we need for them" angle but vice versa.

The texturing is really bad. Some parts look so last gen, and some dont seem to have textures at all. I was extremly disappointed. Not a graphics radicalist here, but this looks bland,and not in the moody way.
Everythings better than Mii. I like those avatars.
