Actually, I would prefer to call these games "systems" instead of "platforms", and its nothing new. Warhammer, TDE/DSA, Shadowrun, AD&D etc all the same principle, launch a base game and build an ecosphere around it.
Next: how the Switch can heal cancer.
"The Switch is different" is in canon with rule #1: never mention that the Switch hardware isnt capable of something.
We are looking at how the game will look on Switch.
I like how epic the graphics look, this 2d has some physicality to it that I miss in 3d graphics.
Well, I wait for an official statement, if You check the source here, guy looks like hes 15 and "his" "Ubisoft rep"'s name hasnt even been mentioned. I could write "articles" like that all day.
I would try, but since the update, connecting takes forever, so no game for me.
Vulvablade ? Seriously ?
Its an atmospheric game, yes, its visually decent, yes, but after my initial euphoria, I rather watch it on mixer than playing it myself.
The problem I see stems from an article I read about this. If they dont sell games, they dont sell consoles, if they dont sell consoles anymore, there is also only ONLINE to buy consoles. This destroys a whole branch for xmas and other holidays. Retailers claim they dont make profit with the consoles, only with the games. Some claim that the Xbox business is weak compared with PS and Switch anyway. The result ? They throw out everything xbox and use the free space for more Switch and PS. End o...
I dunno, at first loved it, now it comes across a wee bit shallow and repetitive. I thought of this as Elite Dangerous on the high seas, but there seems to be no trading, no story, no enemy variety...
Nope.
This goes out to all the gamers: we are special. Despite all our rage fueled, troll baiting toxicity, we are impossibly passionate about our hobby. I love that. Passion is good. Maybe Xbox will recover, I am only playing Xbox currently, so I would love that, but Sony is rooted deeply in gaming, while for MS it often looks like a thing one does just to be part of it. They will have to do a total overhaul to get back to 360 kind of success. The PS4 is much more successfull than the 360 ever was...
I really what would be required technically to make this game run at 2160p/60 on the X.If its just a matter of cutting a few trees here and there ?
Nintendo, meet Ikea. I mean really, that stuff looks awful and for a toy not very robust.
I still think the Switch is too limited. Sure, You can play older games now in portable mode (if You didnt play them then, why would You play them now ?), but if its nothing more than a nostalgia console, then so be it. A portable ROM emulator. Sure, people will buy Isaac oder Meat Boy a THIRD time to play them on the go. Fine. As a non commuter, with a big TV and friends who have grown out of Mario and Zelda, I dont find anything appealing with the Switch.
And I also find people swe...
One of the best gmes we ever played in coop. Its so huge, looks great, and we just cant get enough of it. The Predator hunt was awesome.
The idea behind Kickstarter was to help funding ideas. In the case if SC, I guess Kickstarter fills the pockets of Chris Roberts.
Reminds me of Richard Garriott and Shroud of the Avatar.
Wait, Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Fable 3, all storydriven. Sunset Overdrive is crazy over the too action, Dead Rising a coop Zombie Game, Cuphead a thrilling shmup, Halo Wars a nice rts, reCore a cool scifi action adventure, Luckys Tale a family friendly jumpnrun..there IS VARIETY within MSs game portfolio.
A little texture upgrade wouldnt have hurt.
