The artists surely can do great characters, must be either the art direction or on purpose. To be honest, most ME or DA characters look like Poser figures (Poser is a software to create generic characters) to me.
Gosh I want this so much more than toony, bland Zelda !!! If only Nintendo would go with the the times and finally give use their chars and worlds in glorious HD and splendid detail.
About the idea the Switch could be "updated" to play 4k games: its called a successor, not an update.You need far more than 10% more clock speed to do that :)

I am really not sure yet that the Switch GPU can do all the effects the WiiU, 360 or PS3 can.On all trailer and screens so far, I have the impression that the lighting isnt as "deep" or as "ambient" or "global" as on a "standard console".Odyssey looks flat to me, and Kart looks as if the fake SSS is worse than on Wii U.But I need to see the games for real to really judge that. It just looks as if MK8 for example pops more on Wii U than on Switch.
Might be as strong, but doubt the stronger...
