Pennywise: Ubisoft knows this is one of the biggest releases of the year, as such the DLC probably wasn't even finished so they decided to do this instead of delay the game. Make more money or less, what a toss up!
Edit: The game from day 1 had two unaccessible memory areas, hence it was most likely removed because they wanted to repackage it or it wasn't ready and they didn't want to delay the game.
Take Two is banking a lot on Bioshock 2, Mafia II, and Red Dead Redemption (even releasing it two years to the day of GTA IV), Max Payne 3 should do great and hopefully the Agent delivers and people buy it. Borderlands should have some legs as well, "Fallout" + Co-op = Win!
I'm also always up for a good third person shooter so hopefully Spec Ops: The Line delivers, it looked promising in the trailers. Hype for it in 2010 should do a ton for Take Two in 2011. Sales for...
Brutal Legend in my opinion wasn't the type of game to fly off shelves at the $60 pricepoint, $40-50 seems like a better fit for it, I think when it comes down to that point it will begin to sell.
Regardless, I'm sure it will break 1 million in its lifetime, the best selling Tim Schafer game in quite some time.
The DS does great but the software is telling when great games like GTA: China Town Wars for instance sell like crap, with over 100 million units you would think at least some of those people are into mature rated games?!?
Great numbers with the PlayStation family, especially the PS2, I'm surprised those things sell this much!
The 360 isn't doing that bad either, I expect it will reach 20 million easily before 2010 is over. The PS3 will also go up to maybe 12-13 ...
Why change the war when there is plenty already untouched?
When are we going to get war games that make you feel for the characters? So far all war games are now is you shooting hordes of "Nazi's" with no reason other than the big shiny star on your map tells you too.
Why don't we see character development like All Quiet on the Western Front, Das Boot, Stalingrad, Band of Brothers, The Forgotten Soldier, etc in video games? Heavy Rain, Indigo Prophecy,...
Its been ages since I've seen a Boll movie and I can't say I was impressed with what I saw. I've heard his Vietnam movie was decent, his movie about Darfur has been getting some buzz as well.
Anyway, do we even need a ME movie? The game itself is basically an interactive movie in some ways!
BadboyCivic360: A HD DVD drive was POSSIBLE at one point, Toshiba sent Microsoft prototype drives in the spring or summer of 2005 IIRC according to employees on the HDi team at Microsoft. At most a minor delay might have been required or a small increase in price but the 360 could have had a better built in format.

What does that have to do with anything The PS3 version remains untouched, it's not even the 360s fault, it's the DVD format. This is most likely just compressed video and audio, perhaps the removal of different language audio as well. They would NEVER take out a piece of the game, most likely downgrade the textures but nothing more.
All companies even Microsoft take offers from fast food corporations, but that is a horrible photoshop...
The idea sounds interesting, a Natal Fit is what I think. The Wii already does something similar, this will just make the visual side of things a bit more "accurate".
LeonSKennedy4Life: What else can I add? The sentence is done, I'm basically replying to FishyFingers who said no one is doubting the tech behind Natal, I replied the hardcore PS fanboys especially here on N4G are doubting it.
MrJackOfAllTrades: It is you who is acting like one, the discussion is about the technology behind Natal which you have claimed is essentially a EyeToy 2.0. People are fanboys by claiming things such as the eyetoy is the first time such a thing was done on consoles or that Natal is simply a ripoff of other techs.
Where in ANY of my postings have I ever stated Microsoft should get all the credit for Natal? Please find it for me.

How is this great news? I assume you are all for patent trolling until your company of choice will be hit by it?
Great reviews all around, Sega has a really winner on their hands, lets just hope they advertise it this time... =/
That's a pretty good deal, I have 2/3 map packs already so this won't appeal to me much.

How about a list of Facebook games that don't steal your information?
1.
Oh wait...there are none! =/

When did Square confirm that it wasn't HD?

Don't worry, it's just fanboyism, they think because the game is a multiplatform title the PS3 version will automatically suffer. =/
The Dreamcast got a lot of use this year, perhaps N4G should bring back the channel. :p

"Speak the truth"? Ok, h...
And it has begun!
You also need to realize that the Eye Toy was not the first time a camera attachment was used on a console to allow for such interaction.
The fanboys claiming Natal is essentially a glorified Eye Toy are.
