To the average consumer, they probably won't be building gaming PC's to max out the game. They might go over to a friends house, see the game in action, and decide to get it for a 360.
I don't know if Mass Effect 2 is going to be a huge system seller, only NPD, ChartTrack, etc will tell.

Seeing some of those figures is depressing, hopefully the European/Japanese numbers were better to boost a few sales here and there.
The campaign reminds me a bit of those wacky Sega ads they did in Japan. How well does Monster Hunter sell on consoles? I know it does really well on handhelds especially in Japan.

Technically that isn't entirely true as Bungie is still a Microsoft LLC meaning Microsoft own less than 50% of the company.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
Virtua Tennis 3 (The first 360/PS3 1080p native game)
They are all retail disc based games btw, Boogie Bunnies on the XBLA is also 1080p native.
One question though, are the authorities not able to crack down on him for what he is doing? Reverse engineering (which is what happens 99.9% of the time such hacks are made) to my knowledge is forbidden by many companies in their EULA.
If the PS3 was outselling the Xbox 360 since launch it would have overtaken it by now. The PS3 asides from a few blue moon weeks has been outselling the Xbox 360 in Japan since launch, it's pretty close in Europe, too close to tell in some case, up until the summer of 2009 the 360 was outselling the PS3 in North America as well.
Most Blu Rays are nearing the 25 GB limit, I go to a few HD review sites and they usually list the disc size in their reviews, they are on average around the 30 GB range.
For games it could be different, but even then, if your game is 15 GB there is only so much you can do to try and push it over to the dual layer side. You can use blank data to fill the void but I'm sure pirates would just remove it.

Destructoid also gave Halo Wars a review based off the tutorial missions, (they were outed) and then there was the Assassin's Creed II thing stated above.
I personally take their reviews with a grain of salt after the issues mentioned above.
I checked a few press areas and it seems there was a review event in London (I think) for M.A.G. recently.
I personally don't use reviews to judge multiplayer only games, hell, I still play Shadowrun on a almost daily basis and that game still has a great online community. According to most reviews, that game should have been dead ages ago.

I don't know why that would be a bad thing. Sega cut up Shenmue and turned it into a movie that got a theatrical release! Why? Because it was a masterpiece.
In my opinion it would be a huge honor if your game was good enough to warrant a theatrical release.
