IL2: Sturmovik birds is far from a budget game, not an AAA budget, maybe somewhere in between. And if it is a budget game, kudos to the developer for making a game with those physics, that much detail, etc on a small budget.
Retail release, not sure if it will be a full priced release though, $40-60 is my bet.
I just hope 505 doesn't botch this like they did with Ill-2 last year, great game which probably didn't sell to well.
I've been playing a lot of Silent Hunter 5 recently so I might get this, it doesn't look too good graphically but the arcadeyness of it could be a cool contrast to SH5.
Can't listen to "external" music when gaming anymore, I used to last generation since a few Xbox games had it implemented pretty well. Now it's largely just playing your music over the entire game.
MLB 2K10 really improved this year, it was mostly a tie for me when doing the poll, both are pretty even, one game might have one model better while the other has another.
They should have included the actual players picture alongside the in-game render.
The singleplayer wasn't that bad, it was a great co-op experience since there were some areas you could only get to with a co-op partner. The multiplayer was the real draw, 32 players, huge maps, vehicles, man those were good times!
Strippers take their clothes off, these girls weren't.
presto717: Two different people reviewed that game at two different times, IGN isn't a thinking or constantly evolving super computer. What was good one year might not have the same appeal the next.
Also, he was LAID OFF not fired like some people seem to think, big difference between the two.
pogibaldy: They announced a new one for the PS3/360 recently, Lord of Shadows I think.
Poor Ensemble, odd how internally the employees claim it was basically due to studio mismanagement and Microsoft says it was because they didn't have anything Natal worthy in the making.
Good times with the original Castlevania! Haven't played one in a while, I did get Symphony of The Night though on XBLA.
Same here, I caught onto the "buy multiple games + the transfer cable to catch em all" trick and stopped right after that. I think Blue was the worst since it had the least amount of Pokemon in it. I hope things have changed on the DS, at least Wifi is used now?
Not long now! :)
Haven't played a Pokemon game since Blue so I think I might use Gold/Silver as a opportunity to jump back on the bandwagon.
The Club is a pretty fun game, for anything below $30 I recommend it highly!
FangBlade: Microsoft is an American company so American and some foreign investors also want to see how the company is doing in that region. Same goes for Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Activision, etc in that area.
Of course developers/publishers get far better industry numbers than the public does, for one, Canada is left out of NPD.
There going to have to draw a line somewhere given how movies like Das Boot, Stalingrad, etc (all amazing films btw) show the war uncensored. If the same "censorship" laws can apply to games that are historically accurate, portray the war realistically, etc that could be the way to go.
And I'm not talking about games like Call of Duty since those are far from realistic and they skip tons when it comes to historical accuracy. But then again, apparently Inglorious Bast...
Great to see NBA 2K10 on the list too, 2K/Take Two need a hit and it looks like they cleaned up pretty well last month.
MORTAL KOMBAT!
After watching those commercials you really end up feeling like you could take on the world. Great marketing campaign by Acclaim, it was good to see Midway picked it up, hopefully Warner does the same.
They had a sale on Trials HD a few weeks ago, it was 800 MP for Gold subscribers.
