This article is so baseless, Microsoft sold over 2 million Zune's and in the US alone has over 14% market share the last time I checked, beating out people like Samsung, Toshiba, etc.
Just because a Zune phone is not in the works it means Microsoft is throwing in the towel? If they make a Zune phone it's going to be fun to see how Microsoft convinces fellow hardware makers to keep making handsets for them. Ballmer said the latest 10 active handset models each sold a million, t...
Check the date on that comic please.....
This eat sleep game site has been around LONGER then Jaffe's studio, Jaffe founded his studio in 2007 while this site has been around since 2006.
If you clicked through you would have noticed that is not their site! Also this site's been around much longer then Jaffe's studio so if anything it's the other way around.
Like I stated above, I think it's already underway! ;)
They were kinda forced to stop production of the original Xbox since I believe NVIDIA the GPU maker decided to cease production of vital chipsets needed for the console to work.
Didn't they merge to create Double Helix? That explains why Perry is at Acclaim now though. Looked at their wiki and I guess Interplay retained their franchises.
Well as of late Vin Diesel has had a better career with games then has with his movies. Driver was a great game, adding in gameplay elements of Gears of War in a sandbox game seems like it could work really well. If it gets great reviews I'm sure that's all they will need to start pushing copies and to convince nay sayers.
I forgot about Interplay! That was truly remarkable how they made a comeback, although I think Midway is the last big name true American Arcade developer from that time period, the rest where either shut down or restructured like Atari.
I think Midway has enough to pull out of this especially after delaying the 7.125% situation, worst case scenario is they are forced to sell some franchises.
It looks interesting, it's taking a super comical approach to the sand box genre. The fighting system is a prime example of that.
Most definetly, it is the last "real" American publisher from back in the day to boot, it would be a shame to lose a party of gaming history like this, especially after seeing what happened to the new Acclaim, or even the new Sega...
I have a feeling that 2010 project they were touting the one that was as good as or better then Gears was probably Psy Ops but of course that is on a hiatus. Stranglehold was great and I definitely don't agree with the "repetitive&qu...
Misspoke a bit but if Blue Dragon could sell what was it 300K in Japan with less then a million consoles theirs no reasons why anything on the PS3 isn't able to sell close to a million, I don't understand how selling units is a bad thing all of a sudden. According to cereal_killa's logic I guess games should sell poorly for what ever reason.
Heh yup that's true, some really decent titles are developed/released but never talked about which is a shame.
4 disagrees and only 1 reply, you gotta love N4G.
The Xbox 360 with its low install base in Japan has come pretty close so its definitely plausible for the PS3 to do the same, I think Metal Gear Solid 4 did.
That's not bad, I doubt it will reach a million units in Japan though, perhaps when it reaches bargin bins? It would be interesting to see how this title does overseas, both at retail and in reviews.
People on N4G seem to have short term memory, before the PS3 launched dating back to the PS1 do you guys remember how co**y and arrogant they were? Going as far as spreading a rumour (They didn't kill it, they went with it) that the PS2 could be used to set off WMD's!
Why would this be their last console? Their selling a ton of consoles this generation and have built a fanbase that recognize the Xbox brand, seem's silly to think they will throw all that away.
Because you put one up when ever you have time.
Sounds promising, I hope it can deliver.
MK9 is already underway, problem is no one knows a release date or what it's about. I think it might be a 2009 release and then the series would be given a year or two off. Why 2009? To get rid of what little debt may still remain! ;)
