Make sense, although Live also took a step forward with the NXE by giving you a reason to go Gold other then exclusive demos and online gaming, a very small step albeit.
Game looks great, can't wait! I for one will probably get it on both platforms, 360 first for obvious reasons and then PC since like always the mod community will have their go at it. Can't wait to see some Xbox 360 screenshot's as well. Of course back in the day they said they were going to optimize the game fully for the Xeon chip but of course any programmer can realize that doesn't mean much.
Funny how Playstation fanboys have just RECENTLY started talking about Uncharted ...
A majority of it looks pre-rendered which would expain the graphics, I also think this might be "on rails".
Cereal Killa: It's called a killer app, ever heard of it? Sony even had them, Twisted Metal, Syphon Filter, etc If you did some research you'd realize Microsoft releases more then Halo and Gears every year, Microsoft has experimented with new IP's as well, the most recent one's being Viva Pinata and the revamped Banjo mechanic.
Sony experimented but it didn't move consoles, please do some research next time.
They do Microsoft opens up studios for every little thing and then closes them after its done if need be. The team that ported Halo 2 to the PC was given their own studios called Hired Gun, their are more cases as well.
That would be a magic pricepoint on the unit, but of course the Arcade is going to get more cuts since it advertises better plus would be able to compete further with the Wii and PS2 market.
The 360 does use DirectX libraries were not seeing the effects showcased in many games on consoles yet. The article's not saying the 360 is capped by any means, it's referring to the fan boy argument stating it's been capped.
How are we a fan site?
Correct! Another point highlighted in the article, exclusives will get people to purchase consoles, the PS2 and on a closer note the original Xbox are prime examples of that.
Isn't that another way of him saying they used the ram to it's limits? Add more to the processor and the frame rate drops, add more then your ram can handle and your program fails.
You and your conspiracy theories, wasting my last reply on you! If that were the case they all would have left long ago, we decided on Alone in the Dark a few weeks ago but didn't post anything until everything else was decided upon. If you want to discuss this matter further send me a PM, although I don't see what's really left to discuss at this point, really all you've done is make outlandish accusations saying I somehow managed to "rig" this.

Unfortunately Sonic Unleashed was narrowly beat out by Siren so it wasn't even nominated.
@ IzKyD1331: Your judging someone based off an avatar? Do you judge thieves by the color of their skin as well? I may have a Carnby avatar, a character associated with how many different games now? The nominations and final awards were decided by a group of us, not just me. I happen to have a N4G account and decided to submit the story, nothing wrong with that, is there?
What you need to realize is reviewers always have a difference of opinion, if you were to judge games solely...
It makes thing's easier to manage,
The phrase "nothing is ever clear cut" fits this perfectly, the game brought a lot to the table and did it's best to execute, it executed some of those ideas perfectly, others not so much. I as well as a few other writers enjoyed the game, that's what GOTY awards are about, taking games you enjoyed that year and discussing which ones are award worthy in a civilized manner.
Alone in the Dark in our opinion is worthy o...
There's a reply button you know,
If you call giving developers credit and acknowledgment for something they have done "sympathy" then sure it was out of "sympathy". Infact with that logic it must mean all developers credited with innovating or bringing new ideas to the table are out of "sympathy".
Again it's about personal choice, not everyone is freaked out by the same thing.
Not all games are heavily scripted, I ca...
It would had Sega/Monolith fixed the technical issues that plagued it on both console ports.
In the end really it's all about personal choice, because of what Alone in the Dark brought to the table we felt it deserved some sort of recognition from at least someone, because lets face it, no one else is going to be giving the developers kudo's for bringing these ideas to the table, idea's which we will probably see in more games in the near future.
At least when I played, Condemned 2 really played mind games with me, I was only able to play it for about 30 minutes at a ...
How? Rare is making Microsoft money regardless, if all their titles tanked financially then maybe your statement could have some credibility but that's not the case. Combined Kameo and Perfect Dark payed back a majority of that $300 or so million Microsoft payed for them.
Donkey Kong is a Nintendo franchise so if anything it will only be on the Virtual Console.
The headline is a bit misleading, I thought it was two secret titles but their apparently just ones that have been announced already.
