Likewise, not just the graphical capabilities but all the other rendering that was happening in the background (effects, destructibility, etc). I for one am excited to see how well it transitions over to the console.

There were a few moments in Call of Duty: World at War (on the 360) which were simply mindblowing! It was hard to believe it was the same engine rendering those scenes in real time to boot!

The author dosen't even link to them (if applicable)or provide what year they are from to allow others to do their own research. And yes it is quite possible those figures are correct if it is the US alone.

...uh no! Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo: Elements of Power both sold over 1 million units at the original price point, then they went platinum and is assumed to have sold more. I think the number mentioned in that "article" is a bit off.

Viva Pinata sold over a million as well albeit at reduced price. Didn't Banjo also sell 200k in the US? I don't think I will go as far as saying the "debt" was completely paid off, but at least 75% has been.

When it comes to realistic sims the Forza series is really popular on the Xbox family of consoles.

It seems to me Race Pro will be a love and hate thing for being "too realistic"?

I personally don't, Midway has enough to get through this, after that smart decisions will allow Midway to run prosperously.

Midway got a sick deal to boot considering their condition, I'm surprised Ubisoft actually agreed to these terms, you would think they would exploit Midway.

Its probably safe to say the two DLC packs combined will equal the length of vanillia GTA 4, since GTA 4 had cost $100 million to develop in theory something the same length of GTA 4 for only half that would be a good deal.

Its safe to say when Rockstar does something they do it big, no argument there, whether Microsoft will make that money back is what we will have to see. They probably looked at things like how current expansion packs have sold on the XBLM. If COD 4 map pack...

The Helgast were inspired by World War I equipment, their is also that series in Japan which has characters who look identical to Helgans.

Regardless this mod looks great!

I don't think the BBB will give a damn considering Microsoft already has things in place to deal with the RROD (warranty, better chips, etc), this article is a waste of bandwidth which is essentially a blog rant. Someone should clue this idiot into the 3 year extension (which he refers to as month) and how such problems are caused (he is attributing simple updates to the failures, so much wrong with that I don't know where to begin!)

Err Wheelman is a new ip, their was no game before it.. are you thinking of Driver?

That was a different division which was already losing money.

I agree, WM phones have never been about the form factor although HTC is definitely changing that....almost everymonth!

I only played the demo for Psi Ops on the original Xbox, it was great! Unfortunately I missed out, I hope they release it on Xbox Originals or extend the free to play PC offer to Canada.

I have a hunch that the 2010 game that was looking "better then Gears" was indeed Psi Ops 2, it just has to be!

They were good, even on Metacritic those 3 games have a pretty nice rating. Especially MK vs. DC, considering the fact that both the ESRB and DC Comics put so many restrictions on the Mortal Kombat team, sure the game had its flaws as well, but its no where near as bad as you guys are making them out to be.

6333d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

That good? Stranglehold, Blitz, MK vs. DC, etc were all great games, Midway still makes good games, its just people are to arrogant to accept that.

Sure they make horrible games as well, but so do all publishers/developers the size of Midway.

I just want a updated IE, the current build available is outdated in comparison to the alternatives.

The UE3 licensing fees are less then 2 million according to reports filled by Midway....

Were you seriously suggesting UE3 would cost Midway over $100 million to license?

6333d ago 6 agree0 disagreeView comment

All that money they made from 2 million copies of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and 1 million copies of TNA iMPACT!, not to mention Touchmaster 2 (Which is bound to have sold at least half a million since it was popular in Europe.
