Gears 2 had a good storyline, I enjoyed it! I haven't played Killzone 2 but are reviewers really stooping so low to compare games of a different genre with each other? That makes them no better then the fanboys comparing Halo Wars and Killzone 2!
Duh of course the control scheme worked for previous RTS titles, it just didn't work very well.
Likewise, this was one hell of a Swan Song for Ensemble, it will be interesting to see if anyone can top them. Regardless, if your gonna go this is one hell of a way to do so!
@GWAVE: Well it was a demo, I doubt the full game will have that cap.
Awesome, this is one of my favorite games, it has its problems though, shame Troika shut down after finishing the game.
Agree, although Gears 2 was spoiled for me (on Youtube in the comments of a unrelated video unfortunately :/) I still enjoyed the game. Regardless keeping your guard during such things is the only thing you can do, for one staying off the N4G comments section is a good thing.
Although the guidelines say such sites are not allowed there are blogs out their like VG247 (Since it uses Wordpress and technically qualifies as a "blog), Joystiq, etc who actually have news worth posting. Unfortunately the masses do not.
Uh no, the article is misleading and thats the least of its problems, it makes absolutely no sense at all. If Microsoft really wanted to give developers a choice other than DVD they would have picked HD DVD, why would they release a add on now and have only 5 people buy it so developers could put games on the format? I think only 300k bought the HD DVD add on in comparison to the 20 or so million Xbox 360 owners at the time, it makes no sense for them to release add on that will only appeal t...
It dosen't matter, G.O.W. 3/III is the proper naming convention for both.
If you want to get into the gritty details, God of War has used roman numerals while Gears of War has used numbers.
So in reality GOW 3 would be Gears of War 3 and GOW III would be God of War III.
I noticed it has a lot of World War I/World War II overtones (the ending at least), in particular the German side and the reason many Germans had gone to war in World War II. History buffs like myself will notice a few post World War I references regarding Germany as well.
Anyone excited for almost any game probably won't watch the ending, the problem is the bots will shove it down your throat. :/
Why can't two games use the same naming convention? The Video Gaming library is so huge such conflicts are bound to happen.
Maybe someone should let these guys know TGR's rumor killers segment isn't fact but speculation???
HipHopGamer and Michael Patcher were saying it was coming to PS3.
LittleBigPlacenta?
Wii Fit My Ass?
If you try hard enough you can probably make a name for everything
House of the Dead sounds like a great game although I've heard because of the limited hardware on the Wii the developers had to make sacrifices which are apparent in the final game such as lag, framerate, etc.
More reliable hardware is a must
No plethora of SKU's either
Better storage medium (If its not Blu Ray its going to be custom)
Bigger more badass hardware (A given)
Live Anywhere (If we don't see it this gen)
And my final point which can apply to any console, bring back classic Xbox franchises! I'm surprised we haven't seen the return of Nathan Zachary, that guy was so bad ass!
Yes the PS1 had a 10 year cycle but who even knew about the cycle after the system was taken off shelves? Sony wasn't releasing titles from it, infact the only one who was if I recall was EA Sports who are also still releasing on the Xbox, perhaps a few minor ones did as well.
I saw the title and then saw 15 comments, without even clicking I immediately realized what the comments would have been like.
The article if you read it is about games in general, it even mentions previous examples in the post. Infact I don't even recall it mentioning Killzone 2...
Were abouts does he explain the 7.1 thing? Its hard to hear so I had to skip a few moments.
Edit: Nvm, its 30 seconds on the dot. Thats awesome! I can't wait to see how 7.1 works on the Xbox 360, for that reason alone this is definitely a purpose, I'm surprised other games haven't done so as well!
