It was just an example, it's up to the parents in the end. Would you rather have others force there hands?
It has its issues but I wouldn't go that far!
Microsoft just didn't achieve this overnight on hardware alone, they provided good documentation and help to developers who needed it when it came to programming on their system. Sony is severely lagging in this department, they definitely need to prove. That being said, no amount of documentation in the world would ensure flawless ports, titles, etc.
I do agree, kids need to be reading books these days, the group of people who have never read a physical book will only get larger. That being said, nothing wrong with Video Games either, if your a parent make a deal with your kids, 2 hours of studying, reading, etc = 30-60 minutes of gaming.
Selling really well to boot! The shareholders at THQ must be really happy with THQ's performance so far.
The kind he has
Everyday the window of opportunity for Sonic to return is getting smaller and smaller when SEGA release more shovelware, not to mention the Mario tag team probably caused a bunch of Sonic fans to jump of bridges.
Call of Duty dead before 4? HA! I guess you just recently got into the series, COD games were selling and reviewing really well (main ones of course, the spin offs were a mixed bag, that being said some of the spin offs were really good). Call of Duty 3 did really well, the best in the series until Call of Duty 4 of course.

No homo? :P
Yes, it is from Yuji Naka's new company "Prope".
It doesn't matter, companies need third party, if a game like Call of Duty can sell a guaranteed 4 million that is money in Sony's pocket thanks to licensing fees. Trying to get the same figures from your first party is no easy task. Don't forget the license generated from DLC and such.
Really? 3 different dads?
Milking? All Xbox/PS2 era MK games have reviewed and sold pretty well. MK vs. DC didn't review as well but still sold over 2 million units, not sure how or why a company that is making money from a franchise should stop using it.
I might get this at $40, classic previously guitar only songs redone for a full band experience is a cool opportunity.
They can't, old Midway management who probably never coded a game in their careers signed a deal with Epic to use the UE3 in all in house games remember. That's the reason why in less then two weeks Midway will be a "much different" company. :(
I would have never thought you could do a frame by frame of a CGI trailer, but they really found some interesting stuff.
Not sure what you're talking about, Prototype got pretty nice reviews.
