Technically a system like this exists, in Jetpac: Refuelled for instance, you get a gamer picture of reaching a certain achievement level. This new system will just apply that to avatar items from what I can see.
I'm not very impressed by it to be honest, hell, we still don't even know what kind of NVG they are! I found the GTA IV collectors edition pretty awesome.
It's like seeing a timeline of ridiculousness, I remember when these special editions first took off last generation you would get a cool metallic case, bunch of pamphlets with art, hints, etc, a special edition DVD, the game, and a load of other stuff for a mere $5-10 more.
Today, the regular edition will cost you $5-10 more than what it used to! (In Canada at least, we went from $60 MSRP to $70 :( )
How exactly are PayPal scammers?
I'm sure it will eventually, I'm in Canada so I miss out as well. :( It is good to see new features are being added that both Gold and Silver members can take advantage of. I usually buy digital codes that are emailed to me from third party sites like Maximus Cards, this will remove the middle man when it finally hits! :)
All XP fans do realize 7 has the ability to fully emulate Windows XP SP3, right?
The singleplayer could be a motive, so could the "my friends are playing it" factor.
peacock1: When have I ever said the game was a Xbox 360 exclusive? Please do find it, I would love to see if I put these words in my mouth.
Wrong zone buddy, and no, this is what happens when your publisher cuts down on advertising.
What gets me is the fact that Velvet Assassin was also on the PC yet everyone on N4G claims it was exclusive. It even says below the story, "Xbox 360, PC".
Velvet Assassin wasn't terrible, it was mediocre really. It averages 60 or so on Metacritic.
You obviously haven't played Velvet Assassin if you think it is "just another WWII game", you probably don't play many games at all if you think only the WWII setting is saturated.
How? Velvet Assassin was a PC title as well. It doesn't matter how many platforms your game is on, if no one buys it no one buys it. The fact that the game released at a time when games sold like crap probably didn't help either.
They did have plans, books, comics, etc were all announced around release. I haven't finished the game yet but from what I can gather so far, it was supposed to be a 1 time thing from the get go.
This sucks, Velvet Assassin had some really good ideas in it. Giving the Germans a human element was a great touch, differentiating between Nazi, Heer, etc was a welcome addition. Some guys you felt really bad for killing, others you couldn't wait to kill.
This is what the second German dev to shut down this week?
Good luck guys, you're a talented bunch and I hope you find work quickly.
So far physical media will give you the best sound quality, CD, DVD, HD DVD, Blu Ray, etc all provide(ed) much better audio quality than any digital music service.
I'll be honest, I still buy CD's because they are pretty cheap and the quality is better than iTunes or Zune.
Regarding these 8 points, good luck arguing them in court since I doubt a majority of them will stick. Stealing is still stealing.
They did, they called it the Treaty of Versailles but no one bothered to use it.
People like you give gamers and I assume you are from America so Americans a bad name in society.
And that is to you personally, not your avatar,
Like I always say, mainstream gamers care about the games, not the size, performance, etc.
Microsoft is actually good about the Halo (and to a certan extent Gears) map packs, after a while they either get a point reduction or go free.
